The people who run the place are very nice and friendly . Nothing is to much for them. Have stayed a few times over the years. Evening meal and Breakfast very nice . Evening meal wasn't expensive

The lady who checked me in was lovely and very helpful and welcoming. The room was very clean, warm and there were well stocked teabags and biscuits with a kettle for making a hot drink. Breakfast was great and I would definitely stay here again. The parking was great and there was plenty of room which was very helpful after 7 hours on the road! From the moment I entered the building I was aware that this facility takes cleanliness seriously. Thank you,

It was very close to venue I was going to. There is a fully equipped leisure centre literally right behind the Tavern , so went to use the steam room, a nice way to end a busy day. I even had had dinner at the venue which was very nice, they had a fully functional bar, where some of the locals came for drink and chat. All very friendly. Had no complaints about anything as everything was as it should be. Great place, will definitely stay here again if required. Thanks

Second time staying at the White Horse, and as pleased as ever with our stay. Our room was clean on arrival and the beds comfortable. Food was excellent as always, along with the service. No complaints whatsoever.

The shower took a while to get warm in the morning, however, this was probably my fault rather than anything else!

Super, comfortable stay. Lovely welcome and very accommodating to my 11 year old grandson. Made him feel special! Would definitely stay again.

I didn’t have time for breakfast so can’t comment on that but I did have a very reasonably priced evening meal. The meal was acceptable but the chips had little flavour so could have been better. The room was great for my needs although the en suite was tiny. However, overall the room was a good size for me and everything was clean. The hotel itself was very quiet so nothing disturbed my sleep.

The mattress I found not particularly comfortable but I realise this is down to personal preference. Car parking was available but the car park was busy and very tight getting in and out. Overall though, nothing much to complain about

Breakfast was very nice and staff were so welcoming. Room was clean and had everything you need to make your stay comfortable.

Friendly helpful staff. Room spacious, clean, good tea tray. We had to leave at 6.45am so the host made us some bacon and veggie sausage sandwiches to take with us. They were delicious! Excellent value for money. Dinner in the pub was also very good.
