The room was good.

It was Friday very late at night when we arrived off the plane. the loud music in bars in and around the hotel just pounded on until about 2am.

Central Location in the city

Unfriendly staff, very loud all day and night which made it difficult to find sleep (screaming and yelling kids & tourists). Shower and sink was broken and everything got wet. Staff was calling us out, even though we had late checkout booked. Not nice experience, would not go there again.

Good, clean room, we lived in superior suite, it was great, comfortable, a lot of space, different facilities such as bathroom and kitchen things.

There is a bar or club in downstairs, that's why it is very loud

We were there for just on night, before taking our flight. The hotel had a good location, you can get quickly to galle face beach and to the shopping center, where we could get some last things. The staff was friendly and helped us with our requests and questions.

All the amenities that a modern traveler needs. Staff speak pretty good English. Great location

Friendly staff, but not overly helpful. Tried several times to get to the roof top bar needed staff help because the key was programed wrong only to find out that it was closed. On my way into the hotel, was expecting a staff person to bring in my bag, but he left it abandoned on the street. 

We had a lovely stay! Our room was comfy, clean and we had service every day. The receptionist team was very friendly and professional. The breakfast and service was nice and fast.

The location is excellent for business travel. Good restaurants, bars, coffee shops, beach front, shopping all at a walking distance.Easy to get a tuk tuk or taxi to explore Colombo. The Ministry of Crab is right opposite this Hotel!

The room was clean and comfortable and the hotel is located close to a restaurant area and the shoreline and shopping mall is only a 10-15 min walk away. The rooftop bar is also very nice but hosts regularly arrangements that can.keep on going into the wee hours. If you are sensitive to noise during the night, you should request a room in the lower part of the hotel.

Room was spacious enough, clean, comfortable bed.

Booked specifically for the late check out (upon availability). I messaged beforehand as I had appointments in Colombo and was arring very late and needed it confirmed. I was told to ask at check in. At check in, I was asked to check the next morning. They did honor the late check out which was appreciated but the lack of certainty was frustrating. Third floor hallway smelled very musty though it was better in the room. Worst part though was the bass and music that continued until about 2 or 3 am (Friday night). It's not worth staying if you can't sleep.

The location is great and the staff wonderful.

My wife and I stayed at Fairway Hotel for one night (July 7th to July 8th 2023) and everything about our stay was excellent! From the moment we checked in, we felt at home and the staff at the hotel was courteous and helpful. We would like to acknowledge especially the cordial welcome and assistance provided by Arafath at the hotel front desk. Because of the convenience of the hotel location, we could access some of the best attractions in Colombo such as Galle Face, Dutch hospital, One Galle Face Mall and Colombo City Center easily. The breakfast was excellent with a variety of food items. The hotel provided private parking too.

The only thing that we did not like was the noise of an event that happened either at the hotel or in the vicinity late into the night that disturbed our sleep. Since we were tired and wanted to sleep, the noise from the event was a bit annoying.

The location is great , very close to the train station, the surrounding have many restaurants and bars to spend nice time. It has a bar on the top roof that can see the city. Staff were very friendly and willing to help.

I'm not recommending getting tour arrangements from the help desk, as it is more expensive than the average price. The surrounding restaurants have live loud music.

It's one of my favorite places to stay in Colombo. Excellent rooms and bathrooms, clean, well appointed. Friendly and professional staff, great location. I keep coming back. Highly recommend.
