We rented three rooms and they were great. Reggi is the man-Very informative and helpful with any questions or tips. He was also really helpful to arrange transport when needed. It is a great little spot and the apartments we rented were all very well cared for and easy to get into and out of. We loved being down in an area where the locals live and go about their daily lives.

The air conditioner in our room (1 of 3) was a little weak but other than that this property was good.

Reggie is so lovely and welcoming & helped us with everthing and had great recommendations on what to do, where to eat etc. Just had a short stay there but can highly recommend the place:)

The manager is super friendly and he helped me with all the questions I had. Good location. The hostel is very basic. There is refill water, wifi and a terrace to socialize.

when you first arrive there Reggie (the member of staff) sits you down and tells you everything you need to know about coron like things to do places to see he goes so far out of his way for you never met anyone that works so hard. thanks to joval homestay we had the best time possible in coron. if you are looking for luxury this is not the place but if you want a warm, welcoming and family feel to your stay then this is the place. the room and bathroom are also very clean

there isn’t anything at all I can fault the only thing I can think about it the Wi-Fi can sometimes be a little slow so if you want to get work done then bare that in mind but if you just need it for the basic stuff it’s more than sufficient

Kuya is very approachable, kind and helpful. He is the Manager, the supervisor, the staff, and the husband HAHAHA!

Reggie was the most helpful member of staff I have come across on my 10 weeks of travel! He asked straight away if I was vegetarian and then gave me excellent restaurant recommendations to suit my dietary needs. He arranged all my tours and transport and even went to get me medication. He was so kind and helpful- I am very grateful to him.

simple room but has everything you need. it’s clean and has cold and hot water that you can use for free. the chickens will make noise during the night, but nothing that will stop you sleeping. the room is just a 5min walk to the main road where you can find restaurants and shops, there are few little shops with some groceries closer to the homestay. you can also rent motorbikes here. Reggie will definitely take care of you and make sure you do the most of your time in Coron, he will give you great advise. it definitely made my time in coron much better, and I really appreciate all the help :) communication is very easy as well! i would definitely recommend Joval Homestay to stay, no doubt :)

Easily the best accommodation we've had in the Philippines! The room was lovely, very spacious, clean and the shower and air conditioning worked perfectly! It's located close to the main town and the pier if you're getting a boat to/from Coron to El Nido. The owner Reggie was the best, he went above and beyond for us! He provided us with so much information about the island, for things to see and do and places to eat. We never would have seen or did things on the Island if it wasn't for him. You can rent scooters from the homestay and Reggie can organise tours for island hopping, etc. We would highly recommend this place! Thank you Reggie!

Sir Reggie took good care of us. He really fixed and accommodate everything we need, recommended the places where to go and making sure we are all safe. This place is highly recommended. Very comfortable, clean and good location.

Reggie is amazing. He js so friendly and goes out of his way to help you with anything you need. He gave us tips on what to do during our time in Coron. We rented bikes and arranged a boat trip around Coron Island through Reggie. The room has everything you need for a pleasant stay. Bear in mind the check in times, as we didn’t read this information properly but thankfully Reggie was very nice about our late check in.

Highly recommended, we liked: 1. the location - less than 5 mins walk to the town centr 2. facilities - with necessary and functional facilities for comfortable stay 3. staff - very helpful and easy to communicate; they dis not hesitate to grant our request

only the flush in the toilet in the room we stayed in was not properly functioning; other than that all is good

great location, right in the center of the town proper and close to essentials, restaurants, bars etc. safe area, clean, facilities available for air drying wet swimwear. room has adequate furnishings for use and with extension to plug in lots of devices. mr Reggie is most helpful, and was of great help to us in booking and arranging tours, transportation, recommending places to eat, and coming up with activities / itineraries / great places to visit

Great place to stay in Coron. Great value for money. The owner is super nice and he helped with everything!

We had a very good welcome by the owner who gave us a lot of advices on what to do on the island which was nice. He helped us rent a motorbike but also booked a tricycle for the early boat we had on check out. Room is quite small but there’s no surprise as it is in the description, it’s okay for a short stay. We recommend it !

Kuya Reggie was a great host, very helpful in making our stay comfortable and making the most of our time in Coron. The location is great, walking distance the town proper. The place is clean and homey.

The bed is small tho for two persons.
