This property is a converted mansion and grounds. At first I thought it was a little weird - so quiet and doesn’t feel very “hotel” - but there is always someone on duty to help you and it is so peaceful. The rooms are HUGE and beautiful. It feels very secure and safe and peaceful and the breakfast was delicious and made to order. It is a short Uber ride to Nelson Mandela Square where we went for our dinners.

The location is great and I felt very safe. Andrew and his team are exceptional. My request for an early check-in was accommodated quickly and upon check-in my room was ready. I loved the garden and peaceful environment. Breakfast was wholesame and prepared on request for an early departure. Well done to you and your team Andrew👏

Everything was beautiful, bespoke little treasure in the heart of jhb. Beautiful rooms, gardens and views. The host went the extra mile for my parents 40th anniversary.Close to sandton central and surroundings.

Getting in to the place was a struggle.
The staff was not easily available for assistance and not very friendly.
The decor of the is beautiful but not practical, eg: they had a large rowing table as a pedestal and it made getting around the room difficult.
We didn’t have the breakfast we paid for as when we needed to know what time it started and ended, there was no one around to assist us.
Beautiful place, but wouldn’t stay there again.

Hoeveld House always feels like home away from home. The staff are so friendly, the service is excellent and the breakfasts are very good. Love staying here
Credit card payment would not go through - seemed to be related to connectivity issues. Had to do an EFT instead

Beautiful house and surroundings. Quiet and cosy. Lovely for a getaway.
Food available upon previous request only. So if you find yourself a bit hungry you must go outside. Even for a light snack.
