The Ambassador is a beautiful heritage hotel in a great location in Delhi. As soon as you enter it feels very welcoming. The staff throughout the hotel are absolutely fantastic and are very warm and helpful. They want you to have a great stay. The rooms are very spacious and are well decorated. We will definitely stay again next time we are in Delhi.

The carpet in the room definitely needed replacing

Hôtel confortable mais assez basique (standard Ibis en Europe) et vieillissant. Très bien situé à proximité du Khan Market (où nous vous recommandons de prendre le petit déjeuner plutôt qu’à l’hôtel) et du métro. Le personnel s’attend ostensiblement à recevoir des pourboires sans que ce ne soit justifié, si bien qu’on se sent comme une vache à lait : c’est déplaisant…

Il manque cependant beaucoup de prestations (machine à café, minibar, peignoirs, sèche cheveux fonctionnel, produits pour la salle de bain, tels que coton tiges etc.). Les chambres sont mal insonorisées. La salle de bain a connu de meilleurs jours = beaucoup de moisissures + notre douche était constamment bouchée. Les espaces communs sont froids et impersonnels, pas du tout l’ambiance à laquelle on s’attend. Les restaurants de l’hôtel sont quelconques et hors de prix.

Every thing is ok

They have charged my credit card extra. When I contact at receptions they told me that it was refunded within one week. But so far it was not refunded. I mailed them twice and even call them but so far no response on mail and not attending the call properly

The perfect location to explore Delhi and a nice collonial feel to the place. Staff were amazing, helpful, welcoming and creative. I couldn’t want for anything.

A little more light would have been nice, and the pool was under rennovation, but understandable.

I love the architecture and location of the building. Breakfast was great and the staff was amazing and kind.

I didn’t like the bathroom too much. My bathroom didn’t look like any of the pictures shown on the Hotel page but it was suffice.

very spacious and clean, amazing location next to the Khan Market which was good for shopping. very friendly staff and always trying their best to help us (eg sending post cards, calling taxi etc)

the property is definitely a lot more dated than the pictures in the website suggest with limited facilities - the gym particularly was a let down.

I liked the location - proximity to Kahn Market and the Taj hotel. I liked the staff - they were all very friendly and helpful. I liked the room - very big and having a suite worked very well for us. The massage was fantastic! And I liked using the pool at the Taj.

The door lock (Room 208) was not functioning properly so we had to get new keys made every time we exited. The drain in the tub wasn't good.
