Very good breakfast, Nice and helpful staff, got a 3-bedroom apartment, clean, suitable for big families.

Old Hotel and furniture, i was disappointed with the room condition, i am sure it use to be the best hotel in town but now it's too old, old carpet which is not healthy especially for people with allergies or asthma.

Location is excellent at the very heart of Medina. Staff especially door staff were extremely helpful. One of them excelled in assisting me. Reception staff are also helpful. During my stay I also received a telephone call or two from hotel staff to see whether I needed anything; which is a very good example of personal attention.

Hotel does not have gymn facilities.

Nice place with close proximity to Alharam.

Car parking was not provided even though it was mentioned in the booking request. The corridor to the rooms needs some attention,

Location is 8 minutes walking from Haram, house keeping staff are very cooperative and helpful. Staff at the restaurant are very decent and showing hospitality. Also quality of food and variety are excellent.

The front office/ reception Staff are careless and helpless. Seems they are not getting the same training like staff at the restaurant. Only two elevators are serving the lower floors, creating long waiting specially during prayer times. Restaurant area is very small and gets crowded during Ramadan.

Clearly not a 5 star hotel! they ask you for feedbacks and then when you give them they ask you not to put the real feedbacks on booking and to give them at least a 8 otherwise they will have problems

لا يوجد فرن في المطبخ و هو شيء اساسي ليكون المطبخ مكتمل. الموظفين بلغونا انه ممنوع من الدفاع المدني.

كل شي يدعو للفخر في هذا الفندق واشجع السكن فيه لمن اراد الزيارة

I have chosen Dar Al Higra for the near location to Haram, BUT is is overpriced for the facilities offered. On checked in after midnight in I asked for non-smoking room and was told that they don't have. At the same time, another customer arrived and asked for smoking room and was told that they don't have either. When entered the room: it was very strong smelly smoking room! limited space with three beds squeezed in twin bedded room. I checked with reception and told that there are no other room available! The room facility was old with hardly any maintenance for many years and broken equipment (i have a photo of the broken iron). I would not recommend Dr Al Higra for other customer at this price!

الموقع مناسب وغير بعيد جهة أبواب النساء ضيافة القهوة بشكل مستمر النظافة ممتازة وخاصة أننا في الدور الأول غرفة 123 كان التنظيف ممتاز

حصل بعض التأخير البسيط حتى تم تسليمنا الغرفة ومواقف السيارات كانت بمبلغ لكن مش كبير 50 ريال باليوم

راحة المكان و نظافته و تعامل و رُقي و احترام جميع الموظفين بلا استثناء!!!! جميع جميع الموظفين رائعين و متجاوبين و محترمين و اكثر من رائعين شكرا لهم

The building is in an excellent position, a few mins walk from one the main gates to Masjid Nabawi - also - at the start of the main fast food joints so after doing the religious things - you can get some great street food right on your door step.

The property is dated… the hotel acknowledges it and has pictures up of what it will look like after an eventual refurb.

The location and breakfast

Room was very dark. Dark interior and not much daylight. Windows had grill so you could not open them more than an inch or two. We also paid for 3 days including breakfast but as we were leaving midnight, we were going to miss the breakfast which we had already paid for. I spoke to the manager and asked him if we could have a dinner in the hotel and the give us some discount for the price of breakfast. The manager refused and said that they would only provide us with a food box before we leave. Food box didn't arrive until very late, almost 5 minutes before our taxi was coming. Inside the food box was couple of buns, few cheese slices, two small croissants and two bottles of water. It wasn't very nice trying to shove it down your throat in a hurry.

The staff especially at the reception were very nice. The breakfast was as expected backed by good service. The location was excellent, quite close to haram. They had both a kettle and a coffee machine in the room.

We were upgraded to a suite. The suite was spacious but the furniture had seen better days. Not what is expected from IHG. I believe they have plans for renovation but it should have been done long back.

It was an amazing experience, the rooms were spacious and breakfast was delicious with so many choices everyday! The location is good (which I was worried before coming), it took 2-3 minutes (with a baby and a toddler) by walking to enter the masjid gate, never felt like an issue. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff, they were very helpful throughout our stay. After having a super long flight to Madina, it felt great to relax and unwind and enjoy the stay and praying at the haram. Would happily recommend this place for anyone looking for a place to stay in Madina.

Can't name anything I didn't like!

The Hotel exceptionally exceeds my expectation, the staff are courteous and always willing to assist. Everywhere is clean and smells good, the breakfast is full of varieties and delicious. The distance to the Masjid is marvellous while food court is just beside the Hotel. I will recommend this hotel to anyone without hesitation.
