Food was horrible ,beach was horrible and the rooms were very bad

the property itself is stunningly beautiful and access to the near private beach makes it even more amazing. some of their staff like duty manager suman and kajal - at the restaurant, went above and beyond for their guests. really made it comfortable and accessible(as i had gone with a broken foot). the room size was great and lot of fun activities for the families and to keep them engaged food was also pretty decent at breakfast but the vibe and setting at their beach side shack style restaurant cortas, was pretty amazing! the food at cortas was quite good too although limited in variety.

some of their staff were terrible at responding back to requests. you would call and leave a message or query and they would not get back to u and if u were keen u could sort it out yourself or u had to follow up repeatedly. the rooms were seriously outdated and while it had everything, it was very old and fallen into disrepair. the light switches were either broken or would not work, you needed herculean strength to be able to successfully flush the toilet, the grout in the bath room was mouldy and gross, half the lamps did not work and the bulbs needed to be adjusted before they would function, the fan regulator needed to be turned off and on with pliers to work and there were many many clothes moths on the wall! also the air conditioning was substandard at best and when we called the maintenance guy, all he did was argue and refused to fix the ac or even clean the filter. he kept saying it has been recently cleaned. when we forced him to remove it, it had an inch thick coating of dust on it. also not bathrobes in the room which i had expected. another big issue was that the description mentions airport shuttle which they do not provide and when this was clarified with akaash the other duty mgr, he was unbothered and didn’t care to respond back.

The issues I called the day before we arrived to ask about, check in they said was ok to do so earlyat 12, when we arrived at the property, mad us wait til about 2:45, and we were in the Lobby for about 40 minutes. as soon as we got to the room the phone was ringing, blank ring tone and then there was a crossed wire where everyone dialling Zero, or Housekeeping would be connected to our room, there were even times when the phone ring would ring through the phone. This persisted, we went out and came back and it was still happening, we phoned the Lobby to complain via cellphone as we we getting a busy tone everytime we tried as it was trying to connect the call to our room. they sent a technician, who looked at the phone then hairdry blew on the wire to dry it, 10 mins later started again but we went straight out. we came back and it was still happening until 10:30 at night where we came to the lobby and explained the situation and they said it was because of their software update and they fixed it. Only after we made a Major fuss and my Wife was stressed out beyond repair. our room is about 6/700 meters away from the lobby and there were times when the key didn’t work so had to walk the whole stretch and another time when we had to wait outside the room for 15 minutes before the key came. Because of the software update we weren’t able to have internet for the entire day as well. Outside the pool view room, there was construction running from the Morning til the night that was VERY loud so there was absolutely no relaxing time on the balcony or the pool. When we ordered room service, They were on the phone with me for about 5 minutes while i explained the biscuits we wanted and he understood finally.. by the time the order came, the ice cream was fully melted and they didn’t even send the biscuits that he kept me on the phone for an unnecessarily long time.

Very poor welcome at the ambience.We entered and noone was there to even offer us a glass of water.After waiting for almost 5-7 mins , i had to myself tell the receptionists to do the documentation and let us in.We were given suite with garden view , in the pic it showed two twin beds which looked like sufficient for 2 people each but when we entered the room it was joined into one bed.Later on enquiring the reception they said that it was single bed only in the pic.This is like deception which such a reputed resort shud avoid.Finally i had to request one extra bed on payment.

breakfast and restaurant menus are limited most of the restaurants are not open the ones that are open do not serve most of the menu the spa was not working there was no bbq as advertised the squash courts were closed there is no room service after 11pm the property took a 200% surcharge on booking taxis (taxis are available directly outside if you check for less than half the price)
