Nick and Chen were very welcoming and very friendly. Nothing was too much trouble.

Everything! Room was gorgeous, shower glorious. Breakfast was substantial, varied and well cooked. Hosts were friendly, informative and just lovely people.

The room was lovely and large, clean and tidy, the breakfast was delicious and the hosts were so polite and accommodating, they had great local knowledge of the area, we are definitely returning sometime soon.

Lovely comfortable room, exceptional cleanliness, good quality in room accessories; tea/coffee etc & bathroom toiletries. Good quality breakfast, cooked very well by Nick and served impeccably by Chen.

Water pressure on the shower was lacking but plenty of hot water available. Position of tv was awkward to view if lying on the bed. Hardly a deal breaker to detract from an excellent stay.

Nick and Chen Wright we’re lovely and provided amazing hospitality. The room was in good condition and was cleaned everyday. Included breakfast was nice. I recommend highly.

I liked pretty well everything, but especially the lovely internal aspects of the house and the top class hospitality of the proprietors.

For me the only shortcoming was the time of breakfast. At 08.30, this was a little too late for me to make more of the morning ahead.

The hosts were very lovely, breakfast was nice and the hotel was a short walk into the town. Parking available out front.

The very relaxing attitude of Nick and Chen their service and cleanliness of the hotel was superb. Great location to the main town centre.

the owners Nick and Chen were so hospitable. couldn’t do enough for you. amazing Victorian property :) very clean. lovely rooms plenty of tea coffee sugar biscuits in room along with a lovely mini fridge with small bottle fresh milk every day all topped up and fresh milk bottle changed !! impressive ! will definitely stay again :)

The hotel is near to the town centre and there is a regular bus service that runs all along the coast a few minutes walk away. We received a warm from hosts. Our room was well equipped and was very comfortable.

There was nothing we disliked. The car park is up a steep drive and there are a lot of steps up to the property but the owners can do little about this because like a lot of Torquay the hotel is on the side of a hill. There was a good choice for breakfast although there was no fruit apart from juices on the menu. I'm confident however our hosts would have provided it if we had asked.

Beautifully spacious and immaculately clean room in a hotel full of character. Nick and Chen, the owners couldn't do enough for you. Breakfasts were very good.

No radio or background music at breakfast that made eating breakfast a little awkward as sometimes it was silent.

A beautiful old building decorated to a high standard. Lovely room. Nick and Chen were fantastic, nothing was too much trouble for them. Fantastic freshly cooked breakfast every morning. Definitely recommend anyone to go here.

Only one small observation, there wasn't a full length mirror.
