מדובר בחוויה יוצאת דופן. השירות היה מעולה, אירוח ברמה הגבוהה ביותר שאפשר לדמיין. החדר נראה בדיוק כמו בתמונות, מאובזר ברמה גבוהה, העיצוב פשוט מושלם והכל היה נקי. הבונגלו נמצא באמצע הים ויש פרטיות מלאה מלבד סירות בודדות שעוברות מדי פעם ולנו זה ממש לא הפריע (יש כמובן גם וילונות). אפשרות לארוחת בוקר צפה ומפנקת בבריכה.

הבריכה קצת ישנה וכתוצאה מזה יש קצת חלודה במים.

The place was exquisite from the time you get in until you leave. The staff are very happy to have you, they'll smile at you, greet you, offer help even beyond what's paid for. The food is amazing; a buffet breakfast, expert cooked a la carte menu, 5 course dinner, amazing cocktails and all of them made ready in time. There are small pools infront of every room for a chill dip, the pools at Isaraya water villas are a little bigger, the place is cozy and the views are breathtaking. The main infinity pool perfectly overlooks the clean white sandy beach at the clear blue ocean waterfront. There is nothing bad to write about this place. Honestly!

The past reviews on booking.com paint a very different picture of what this place actually is and I hope everyone gets to revisit it and see how magnificent it is.

The staff was incredibly nice! The Villa was beautiful and the sunset was the cherry on top.

The road to get to the hotel wasn’t great! The entrance/ lobby decor and reception area wasn’t matching up the expectations.

I would like to make a complain about my stay at Konokono hotel in Zanzibar. Whereas the offer was for a luxury villa with private pool and sea view in a 5 stars hotel, it appears that the service offered was very far from a 5 stars standard: accommodation is really old, badly managed and even dirty and has nothing in common with the pictures on booking.com.The welcoming was very cold and not friendly.Moreover, beyond very poor light, we noted in our « villa » that the flush was broken and dirty, there was dust on the ground, and there was even dejections of animals everywhere (small lezards but still really annoying, in particular near the bed). The private pool was also very dirty especially the tile joints. Long chairs in the villa and in common areas are in bad shapes and dirty which doesn’t give any good alternative to relax. Even if the hotel is located in nature between trees, it appears that no effort is made to clean anything and make us confortable. The common places were not better: the space is old and not clean, and at meal time, there are cats everywhere around the tables, between our legs, or even on the tables of the buffet or of other guests! In addition, the staff does nothing to chase them away, and doesn’t care about complaints of customers. This was really disgusting, and the food did not save anything as it was not good. In the buffet, we also noted a dejection of animal, and the staff laughs when we made the remark… When we decided to take a shower, there was no cold water so the water was really hot, and then it switched totally: impossible to temper the water. In the morning we could hardly get water, only a very small trickle of water. The air conditioning was also really noisy, and if we manage to stop one of the air conditionner, we did not have the remote for the other one… For all these reasons, we decided to leave the next morning even though we paid for 3 nights.

I made a reservation but when I got there the hotel was not what I expected and the hotel description did not provide clear representation that the hotel was in a very remote area and the villas were in a forest which really spooked me to stay and I asked for a cancellation of which the hotel charged my card without confirming if i wanted to use cash or my card. I normally use bookings.com and never do they charge my card automatically the attendants always ask first. This is pure wickedness to have a non-refund policy which i didn’t see because i book severally on bookings and never have my card charged it’s only used for reservation. Now the property is adamant on not refunding me despite explaining to them i was scared to stay in the property. The place was soo empty and only saw like 2 couples in the pool side. I didn’t stay at the property and pleaded for a refund as I wa afraid to stay there but they refused.

Unwillingness to be flexible, understanding to put the customer’s needs first.

the service was terrible. the phone in the room was not working the first day we arrived, it only got fixed the next day, the floor was wet when we got to the room, they said it was because it was raining meaning nothing will be done about it they’ll just keep mopping every so often, which is inconveniencing. the room wasn’t cleaned well when we arrived. we paid for all inclusive I think there should be some sort of improvement on the drinks menu. they should consider refurbishing. towels had a horrible smell, not sure what detergent was used.
