the room was spaciuos and bed comfortable. the staff were friendly.

the swimming pool water was slightly turbid, the walkway tiles around the pool were slippery and hazardous. the garden maintenance was spotty as the lawn outside the dinning area was neglected. i accedently discovered that there was a walk way along the river side. it was tranquil with marverous scenery. it could be a high point if the hotel would improve the connecting walk and some seating facility on the river bank. most dishes in the restaurant were way over priced, and service staff need traing on their knowdge and attentiveness. we were welcomed when we enter, but no one care to see us off. the food

U Khao Yai is a great place! The staff is helpfull and the rooms are spacious and clean. The restaurant serves nice and tasteful food at reasonable prices.

The drinks in the restaurant are extremely expensive. This was a real dissatisfier. The location is a bit remote. For us no real problem because of our rental car but be aware when you book and don’t have your own transportation.

PERFECT stay is what i'd describe my experience at U Khao Yai. I was lucky enough to get the Superior Lake View room at around 55USD which worth every penny because the room itself is very spacious, they offer some free drink from the in-room minibar, the magical landscape view of their gardening and swimming pool facing the mini stream and waterfall. The buffet breakfast is very satisfying, they offer variety of foods and drinks.

Nothing except that the location is quite far out of town but not an issue if you have your own or rental car.

I stayed at the hotel in March 2023 for 19 nights. The room was large, bed was comfortable and bathroom large and well equipped. I came to the hotel after a difficult year and wanted somewhere to relax and this hotel was perfect. Excellent sports facilities including a well equipped Gym with staff support. The sports staff Nim took us on a free cycling trip to the local temple on the hill (90 Mins) and a free canoe trip down the river beside the hotel (60 mins) she also took free Yoga sessions in the garden and Aerobics in the pool - excellent sporting facilities by a member of staff with a sports degree. Breakfast was free and great - homemade yoghurt, selection of fresh bread and a great salad bar along with eggs cooked by chef and various local and national hot dishes - a really great choice. Dinner in the hotel was delicious too - a menu of local and healthy food and a great cocktail menu. The Housekeeping staff Nong was excellent and kept our room clean and even gave us presents of food and toiletries that were very welcome - felt really spoiled during my stay and immediately at home - thoroughly recommended!

Nothing much within the hotel and its small compound, simple restaurant buffet spread not so fine cannot compare to a 2/3stars hotel at bkk. limited facilities, nothing interesting on offer, you can complete the entire compound I'm less than 15minutes. Wanted to kayak but the service was not available on request date and hotel can't even confirm whether the person in charge can work for kayaking for next days lol, nobody kayaking maybe the lake water quite filthy like sewage. Wanted to checkout the next day as there was nothing to do or relax there but no cancellation nor refund for the remaining stay period. If you plan to just relax n find things to do at the hotel you might be disappointed. Save the time and budget elsewhere or just relax at bkk hotels. The choice of food and drinks at the restaurant are not worth the value. It's entirely different from what you read on the website. Please skip pakchong night market done in less than 5 minutes walk from one end to the other, the market cannot compare to any other night markets in bkk, n the ways food is handled here may not suit the non-locals... On the day checkout asked the staff for medication for vomit/ diarrhoea they said they didn't have. Asked them where to get it and they didn't know. Asked for directions to the nearest hospital or medical house they said not sure...terrible...even a hostel at bkk could provide a better service, offer a solution or recommend something simple

Very beautiful hotel, both internal and external. Staff are friendly. Clean room with comfortable bed. It was rabbit themed for the room and floor which I was staying, not sure if it's the same for all the floors/rooms. very sweet. The room was spacious and with nice lake view. There are garden and lake areas to to walk around and relax for travellers who are not in a rush for time.

Breakfast was below standard considering it's a 4 to 5 star rated hotel. Food was cold, including sunny side eggs, soup noodles was warm, not hot. Staff are friendly, but service was slow. Request for cultery took nearly 10 min after we sat down at our table, and it also took them nearly 10 min to serve tea upon request, although there were a number of staff walking around.

Hotel surroundings and rooms were tastefully decorated, we look forward to returning to the hotel after every sightseeing trip. Housekeeping team did a fantastic job in keeping our rooms neat and clean. Bottles of drinking water were replenished everyday too. The restaurant ambience is very soothing and we enjoyed our breakfasts and dinner there very much. It was a comfortable and relaxing stay for us. Highly recommended!

The rollaway bed we requested for was too firm.
