Excellent location near to Munich centre in safe, quiet area, plenty of shops and bars etc nearby

Great location, very walkable to the main parts of the city! That being said, it was one of the few properties left when booking a week in advance. The place had everything you could need, except pillows. A couple issues: one of the heaters was broken and it was very cold for the people sleeping on the couch. The crib provided was broken and we couldn’t put our child in it. Overall, a fine stay.

This checked all of our boxes, great neighborhood, close to so many great sites, including Theresienwiese, Sendliger Tor train station about a 5 minute walk. Apartment was roomy and had everything we needed although we did have to buy laundry soap). It was somewhat difficult to correspond with the property manager, as messsge responses took awhile, if at all. Check-in was on-time and easy though. Overall, highly recommend!

Excellent location. Grocery store down the street. Lots of cafes and restaurants to choose from. Walking distance to Marienplatz. Ubaun around the corner which gives you easy access to other locations including the train station to take day trips. The apartment is a bit dark and damp but we didn’t spend much time indoors. Having a washer/dryer was very handy. Nice big washroom.

It is good size apartment for 4 people. we stayed 7 nights. Check in and check out is easy. Apartment has humidity.there is humidifier working, make sure empty the water backet from humidifier regularly. Good location, overall we are happy we stayed here .

The location of the apartment was great! Close to bus, tram and subway. Great neighborhood. Very close to the Marienplatz. The apartment was spacious including the bathroom. It lived up to what is advertised. A few small things needed attention. There was no hand soap in the bathroom so we bought some. There was a dishwasher but no dishwasher soap that we saw. Again small things. Overall would definitely recommend this place.

Overall, there were some really great things about this property, but there were also 3 things that needed improvement. Great items included: 1) Location; 2) Bathroom was very nice; 3) Kitchen was well appointed for cooking small meals; 4) check-in and communication with the property manager was easy; and 5) washer/dryer worked well for laundry Items that needed improvement: 1) The apartment needs a bit of a deep clean. While the space was generally clean, as in my socks/slippers were not dirty after wearing them around. There was however cobwebs in most of the corners and on the curtains; as well as some mold growing in the kitchen and bathroom areas. All of this appears superficial and likely just needs some attention. 2) The apartment needs a guide book that includes information on how to use the appliances, heat, television, etc. 3) Finally, the electrical needs some work. The lights didn't work well and at times made the apartment feel a bit like a cave. The lights over the kitchen area needed to be unscrewed and screwed in by hand, rather than by a switch. This should be remedied immediately.

This property was spacious and comfortable, located in an interesting and diverse neighborhood with a number of restaurants, cafes and bars close by, but a short walk or one-stop U-Bahn ride to the historic center of Munich at Marianplatz. The layout of the apartment is a bit quirky, but workable, and we couldn’t get the TV or coffee maker to work (but there is an excellent coffee house just down the street) and the lighting seemed to have a mind of its own, but none of this was a problem for us. Comfortable bed, good shower, great clothes washing machine. We didn’t do any cooking, but there is a basic kitchen alcove to do so if inclined. Scaffolding on the street at the entrance, but apartment is at back of a quiet courtyard, ground level, so the place was quiet except for foot traffic outside the subterranean bathroom. Working with Agnes, the manager was great. She was very responsive both prior to and during the rental. We had an enjoyable time and would stay again if returning to Munich.

While the location was good, the apartment was filthy. There was a sticky spill on the bedroom floor, the shower had lots of lint and hair along the sides, there was a gross layer of sludge under the coffee pot, ALL the blinds were covered in dust. We also had issues with things not working; the drip coffee pot, drying rack, lights- they kept flickering in 3 fixtures in the kitchen and we couldn't get them to turn off. We finally just had to unscrew the bulbs each time. I wouldn't recommend this unit!

Place was spacious and nice for a short trip in Munich. Only issue was there no toilet paper and I did not get good communication once I arrived in Munich.

The property was in the perfect location to explore Munich and beyond! Quick walk to train station (U-bahn), old town, and Munich Central Station. Lots of space and a huge bathroom. We were close to a grocery store and restaurants too.

We first read this Vrbo description in 2018 which mentions new renovations and new bedding. This listing should be updated Linens and bedding are well worn and dated. Kitchen appliances and dehumidifier did not work properly, electrical outlets and switches with questionable wiring including flickering lights and set of lights in kitchen that could not be turned off. Not adequately clean upon arrival, including someone's old leftover food in refrigerator, multiple cobwebs throughout apartment. WIFI spotty and did not work at all for two days of our stay. A lot of clutter.....items present that were perhaps left by previous renters? Random food items, old books, pamphlets, broken umbrellas. A big plus is location and also the large bathroom with towel warmer. The bed was comfortable. (sofa bed was NOT, and linens were old and musty, mattress with multiple stains and floor filthy underneath)

We had a great stay while in Munich. Agnes was excellent with communication. She was Able to check us in early since our flight came in at 7am. That was a huge help. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay in Munich, lots of things to like: - Well located. Easy to walk just about anywhere you will want to go, and if you're going a bit farther (BMW Museum, Olympic park) it's also near lots of public transport options. Also close to tons of restaurants, cafes, etc. - Spacious. As other reviewers have said, it's bigger than it looks in the photos. Plenty of space to spread out. - No stairs! With many buildings in Europe not having a lift/elevator, a ground floor unit can be a blessing especially if you have a lot of luggage. - Minimal noise. We heard a little bit of street noise during the day but nothing at all at night. - Well equipped kitchen. It's small, but it had everything we needed.

Nice, large sized apartment in a central Munich location. Plenty spacious for my family of 4. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

This was the last apartment we rented on a three-and-a-half week vacation through France & Germany. Sadly, it was the only one that caused us stress. Although the apt was larger than expected (especially the bedroom and bathroom), the bed was comfortable, the shower was very nice, and having a washer/dryer helped, there were a few issues, some minor and just annoying; others serious. Annoying/minor: Light bulbs in several places were out so the apt was dark most of the time. Since it’s partly underground, that felt gloomy. One comforter didn’t have a cover and there were holes in it. This caused down feathers to float around all the time. Towels were clean, but quite rough. Stiff. Time for new ones or better washing cycles?? The photos of the apt show a TV, but it wasn’t hooked up at all. No service, no matter what language you were searching for. Not a deal-breaker cuz we’re there to see Munich, but…after dinner, it might be nice. And if it doesn’t work, remove photos. Ok, now for the two bad things: 1) There was a God-awful smell in the refrigerator. It was so bad, we couldn’t keep our wine or water bottles in there. Terrible! 2) There was a screw-up/miscommunication about our check-out date. We came back from a long day of sightseeing, ready to enjoy our last night at the apt and a bottle of wine, and *the housekeeper was cleaning the unit!* She had moved all of our things into the dining area - including all of our personal items: dirty laundry, jewelry, souvenirs. When we entered, she was very upset AT US! She spoke no English, so we couldn’t communicate. A few minutes later, she handed me her cell with Agnes on the line. (Agnes is the property manager. The person I’d been communicating with.) She explained that she thought we were already gone!! I reminded her that we had reserved and paid for FIVE nights, checking out on Sunday. I won’t relate all of the back-and-forth that ensued via email, but during that exchange, she actually *blamed ME* for the confusion! I pointed her to check the actual booking, and I suggested it was *her* responsibility to check and manage the booking. A mistake is one thing, but to blame me?! And when the housekeeper arrived, I couldn’t understand why she hadn’t called Agnes right away to check instead of moving our things and trying to clean around them. Not a good end to our time in Munich.

We needed a nice place at an affordable price and this was it. Great location and the host was great!

The apartment was a good size for the two.of us. Communication and check in was quick and easy. The apartment itself is looking a little tied and was not cleaned properly. I think this may be due to the number of people coming and going. The apartment is close.to the train station and has good restaurants/bars and grocery stores around the area. I was a little disappointed in the apartment based on the previous comments.

This is a perfect location in central Munich, about 13 minutes walk from Marienplatz, where you can find the major Christmas market and the glockenspiel, many restaurants, many fine shopping experiences. The apartment is spacious and is much larger than we expected. The water pressure is excellent and the water gets warm in the shower. Very nice bathroom. The apartment has everything you need. Excellent wi-fi. We felt very safe and secure the whole time, in an excellent part of the city. The owner could probably upgrade the towels in the bathrooms. We very much enjoyed our stay in wonderful Munich. Thank you so much!

Our stay at the apartment was great. We were greeted by the owners when we arrived and given a quick tour. The property suited our needs and is clean and comfortable. It’s an easy 15 minute walk to the Marienplatz and safe. The immediate neighbourhood is trendy with many shops and restaurants. We highly recommend it. Great value.

We enjoyed our stay at the apartment. It was nice to have the bedroom parsley in the basement where it was cool on extremely hot day. It's a good location with lots of restaurants nearby and small bars. It was fairly quiet for a busy place too. I would highly recommend it.

Apartment is nicely appointed and functional. Very comfortable and met our needs well. Very happy with the overall experience. We did experience a significant flooding issue due to heavy rains (we had to deal with water through the apartment just before we were to leave) so this must be addressed by the owner. All else was fine.

We enjoyed our stay very much—there were four of us (2 adults and our 2 teens) and the apartment was roomy and comfortable. The apartment was in a fantastic location, with many great places to eat and drink within very close walking distance. Marienplatz was one metro stop away or a comfortable 15 minute walk. We loved our time in Munich and we would definitely stay here again if we are fortunate enough to have a future visit!

Location was centrally locatesd with lots of restaurants/shopping around. Washer and dryer helped during our stay. Not many European apts have a dryer so we were quite pleased with that. Apt was extremely hot due to excessive heat the week we were there. No AC in Europe so not much you can do about that. Overall would recommend and stay there again.

This is a very spacious property in a pretty central location, close to Sendlinger Tor. I would definitely recommend it!

The apartment is in a great location with easy access to all important sights by U Bahn and trams. Plenty of nice restaurants around. It is a large and comfortable apartment with a modern bathroom that we really enjoyed. Harald who manages the place was very helpful

An amazing apartment!! Spacious and well renovated. All you could want for your stay in Munich. Walking distance to old city, shops and more. Host fantastic, very accommodating and helpful. This would have to be my go to apartment in Munich!. See you again soon!

This apartment was very large especially the bedroom which was larger than our master back in the states. The rainfall shower was great and never ran out of hot water. We flew in really late on day of check-in and owner meet us and communicated with us in a timely manner about any questions we had regarding check-in. Also was located in a good part of town with lots of restaurants within walking distance. Of all the homes I have stayed at in my travels this one tops the list.
