The location was perfect, near to everything. The size of the room was great, comfy bed, everything we needed for a couple of nights stay.

The apartment was excellently equipped and spotless. The location was great, by the town wall and walking distance to the centre.

I was on the top floor and the skylight had no blind or any way to cover it, this meant that light was coming into the room the whole night at this time of year and made sleeping for me impossible.

Threats around the apartment of additional charges for things as simple as leaving an unwashed mug or plate. We then saw the note about the bin bags which we then had to sort through all our rubbish and worried we were going to charged for potentially putting the wrong items in a bin. I think I cleaned that apartment more than I clean my own just out of worry for being charged for little things.

First..sort your hot water out.. ! I scalded my hand on the hot water tap when it was just a third turned!!! Late check in at 1500 and early checkout at 1000. ..and being threatened with £10/hr early/late check in/out charges..Ridiculous..we ve paid a lot of money to stay. That gives you 5 hour turn around which is way over the “ if it takes us more than 45 minutes to clean your room you ll be charged” Being charged for parking ontop. Maybe since we ve paid for parking we could leave car until early afternoon since next person can’t check in until 1500 ( hopefully 1400 in the future)..we felt pressured to get up and check out and move car and we re on holiday! These remote properties are saving money on receptionists yet still charging the same prices as hotels and losing the personal touch.

Location was exceptional, inside city walls & easily accessible to all tourist areas.

No power point in kitchenette, no area for toaster. Laundry non existent,in such a mess!!

Lovely views from room across the Dee River also viewing the historic walls of Chester. Eating and having a beer in the old pub beside the hotel. Wonderful. Easy walking to city centre along wall

Having to climb the stairs with luggage, fortunately, we had small suitcases.

Lovely property located next to the Roman Wall on the River Dee, I loved waking up and looking beyond the wall. Being located so close to the centre was handy and literally right next to steps up to the wall was fabulous. We started each day with a lap of the city! The flat block was easily accessible and spotless (smelt great too!). Room was spacious and adjoining kitchen was handy. It was decorated very nicely. Bed was huge and very comfortable. Room was kept nice and cool, the fan helped with the hot weather. Very pleased with how soundproof the room is, I was concerned the road and passers-by on the wall would be noisy and it would be difficult to sleep. There is also a pub next door and I was getting worried when we arrived! But we didn't have any issues and I am a light sleeper that is very sensitive to external noise, I heard nothing! The staff were very attentive and messaged to check up on us. They responded quickly when we had a query.

Water pressure on the shower isn't the best but nothing to complain about. I was thoroughly impressed!

Shower pressure not great

Lovely bright sunny room in a fab location. Nearly missed the remote control for the velux window blind to the right of the kitchen door.

Not the best mattress I've ever slept on (we were in no 8).

The apartment we stayed in was no 4, very clean and spacious, with a small kitchen and en-suite bathroom with towels and soap etc provided. The location is first class within the historic city walls and close to the centre. We also liked the secure car park and the very comprehensive instructions to gain access to the car park and apartment keys etc.

Th only issue was the shower, it was either scalding hot or ice cold, despite trying to adjust etc, however it did not detract from a great stay in Chester.
