El alojamiento estaba bien ubicado y las instalaciones bien.

Lo primero, reserve con tiempo y pedí que se me diera una litera de abajo por problemas médicos para mi sorpresa cuando llego era que no había y si quería me tenía que ir a otro edificio después de más de 15h de viaje….. No es por capricho es por problemas médicos así que gracias a esto me costo más de 10 min poder subir a la cama con el consecuente miedo que pase, además de la poca estabilidad de la cama y evidentemente dormi poco porque una vez iba al baño; el cual me costó bajar otros 10 min,no iba a estar a subirme otra vez. Luego las sábanas estaban viejas y llenas de bolas lo cual es bastante desagradable a la hora de dormir. Luego para pagar si quería pagar con tarjeta me cobraban más…. Me envió un enlace para pagar con revolut y estaba mal; yo estaba de viaje de trabajo y estuve un par de días más en otro lugar y no pude hablar con el para solucionarlo. El 3 día me habla y me dice de pagar y le dijo y me responde un poco soberbio; cuando ya hago el pago y se lo mando no es capaz ni de decir gracias. He de decir que la gente del hostel en general muy agradable pero hubo uno que se puso ha hacernos fotos sin permiso a otra chica que estaba en el hostel y a mi.

- it was quite disorganised at check in and just generally - to get to the female dorm, you had to walk through the mixed dorm, which was uncomfortable at times and for the much higher price made it seem redundant to stay in. because the door didn’t lock there was no additional safety aspect. - no curtains on beds, though it looked like they were being put in the mixed dorms - kitchen is dirty and cramped - no lockers in the room. i wasn’t even made aware if there were any.

Für dieses gute Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist es eigentlich unfair, sich über den etwas beengten Platz in Toilette/Dusche zu beschweren.

The friendly atmosphere made me feel welcome. The hostel itself also offered many options to entertain its occupants.

It was a bit loud at night, due to the tram running so close by. The room got a little hot and stuffy during the night.

Localización, justo al lado del mercado y cerca de los puentes. El staff era muy agradable. La limpieza de los baños siempre estuvo bien. Puedes cocinar. El wifi está muy bueno. Te entregan toallas gratis.

Los baños grandes la mayoría del tiempo estaban ocupados. No pude tener casillero porque se perdió la llave, pero me dieron otra alternativa más pequeña para guardar mis cosas de valor.

Me quedé en dos oportunidades. Así que les entrego doble puntaje :)

Zen hostel is very nice, clean and at good location. The best part of staying there was really welcoming straff, Yana girl from reception is apsolutly the nicest person what I meet in Budapest.

Das Zimmer war leider neben einer (Haupt)Straße und damit laut, außerdem verspürten wir immer wind vom Fenster, obwohl es zu war

Staff were amazing. The hostel was clean. It was a cute place and comfortable.

The noise. The train was so loud, every time trains was passing, its noise made me wake up. Also, it is in a busy street. Lots of noise. Also, every night I walked 20 mins to the bars/restaurants..etc.

Good location, beautiful building. The hostess was very friendly and polite. She told about what shops are nearby, gave advice on sights, where to go and what to see in Budapest. This was my first hostel experience and I was very pleased.

I loved everything about it. The rooms, the area, the location. The lady at reception was really helpful too and they send clear instructions etc before your arrival. Best Hostel I have stayed in a long time.

Gorgeous and very spacious room in a different building from the hostel, just 7 mins walk away. I liked the building and the area even better. It's like living in your own Belle Époque apartment in the heart of Budapest. Kitchen is well equipped, bathroom spacious and everything is very clean. As it is a very old building with original wooden floors, everything is a bit creaky and you can hear through the thin walls - just bring earplugs! While you're there, visit the library building (opposite). It's magical , just like Hogwarts.

Music from the restaurant under the window played until midnight, and then the screams of drunk people. Some rooms are passageways to other rooms.

I had a great stay at Zen Hostel! The staff was very nice, the location was good and it was very comfortable overall. The hostel has a very homey feel, I would definitely recommend it :D

We stayed at their Minerva property, excellent staff! You will get a great view of the city and the river from there. It's brand new furnished and everything was tidy neat & clean. It has a large kitchen, a common area, and a big balcony facing the city. A pleasant place to have your breakfast and spent some quality evening time away from the city noise!

The information is hidden where you will be staying, now they have several locations. During the booking, we were only shown the location by central market and later only during the check-in we had been given the option to choose somewhere else, we felt a bit cheated. Although, we were really happy to get the top floor room at Minerva location, but it might not be the same for everyone!

Friendly helpful staff. I could store my bicycle securely on the ground floor. The location is absolutely incredible. A useful shared kitchen. Free tea and coffee.

Some dorms are right next to the kitchen therefore whilst in bed it can be quite noisy, especially at weekends.

the people working there are super fun and helpful. they provide towels and the beds have curtains. Each dorm has its own little common area and then a great common area for the whole hostel. So the spaces are really well suited for people to sit and talk. I’m a solo traveler so really exactly what I’m looking for.

You feel that you are in the midst of your family and money is the last concern of the owners of the place. Every time I travel to Budapest, I will book here
