It is kind of experience, but I would reccomend it only for one night. Room was kind of clean, but very worn out. The staff tried hard to speak English, but they usually are not in the reception so you need to wait a long time with every question you have. Honestly, I don’t think in Kyoto for tourists this should be a good place as the location is very far from the all the main spots and even train station. Maybe there are more interesting, cleaner places like that in Tokyo.

The hotel itself is very worn out. The carpets in the corridors are black, dirty and it really gives you a bad feeling even the room inside was kind of normal.

spotlessly clean. Helpful and friendly staff. Great room service for food. Luxury facilities in room, and guests can book private use of the secluded rooftop open air warm-water bath for free

Bed is very firm, not a bad thing for everyone but was hard for me to get a comfortable sleep

it was a really big room with a huge jacuzzi spa bath. it was interesting to see this kind of (love hotel) they also had an private outdoor bath which you could book

it was a little far from the station which makes it hard to get to with luggage. train station also has limited escalators and elevators

the staff were soo nice, the open air bath was great, the bathtub was huge with JETS, so many amenities! free snacks, bath salts, and other essentials in the lobby. room service tasted pretty good for a reasonable price. 15 minute walk from the station. the room was enormous plenty of room to unpack! there is a water dispenser in the room that has cold and hot drinking water on demand

i really loved the vast selection of facilities available for entertainment

I liked the different available facilities and things you could do in the room, but many of those didn’t work so it was pointless! I really liked the bathroom and the bed was really wide and comfortable.

It was a little old, many things that were supposed to be part of that special room’s package didn’t work (the karaoke, the galaxy projector, we couldn’t even get hot water from the machine for the tea). Old TV, old furniture. Also, the food and drinks menu says “free” and only somewhere it says “members”. It is very misleading and if you use the tablet to order food you’re not going to know that is only free for members. We ended up having to pay for the food we ordered in the “free food” menu. But fun stay!
