Wanted a get away that was pet friendly and that’s exactly what Koyaru-no-sato Doggy’s Island is. Rooms are secluded but property has plenty to offer for people with dogs. They even serve dog food in the restaurants.

Couch in room could have been more comfortable for lounging.

Everything else was excellent but a refrigerator in the room was making unusually loud motor and water dropping noise couldn't sleep and got very sleepy next morning and hot spring facility doesn't coordinate well along with guests schedule as by the time dinner is finished, the hot spring closes early around 9pm. Staff should have inform this better when dinner schedule is full and put on late dinner as the prepaid tickets were wasted. And why on earth hot spring closes at 9pm in winter season.

Service and meal were an excellent despite quite pricey.

Pricey and food choices were limited.

Large resort with multiple pools, dog runs and really dog friendly. Great amenities for dogs. Room was large. On site restaurant has good foods. Staffs were friendly.

Bed still a bit hard to sleep in. Not many staffs speak English, i was trying to reschedule my dates on the phone and staff hangup the phone twice for not being able to speak English. A bit far from the city, will need car to come here (closest mall is 30 mins away).

The reception area was rude and unapprochable.

We had a mistake booking our stay. It was supposed to be a 2 person booking but we mistakenly booked 1. After the clarifications, we were pissed at the reception thinking we are cheating on the booking that we did. It makes you feel an unwanted guest. The woman and the man in the reception area is annoying and unapproachable.
