Hotel Pequeño con todo accesible a pocos pasos. piscina y restaurante, playa. En el momento que fui había poca gente por lo que fue bastante silencioso para descansar.

Es un hotel ya un poco antiguo, se ve como que no le dan mantenimiento. Las Sombrillas de piscina no servían.

Die Lage ist sehr gut. Wir hatten eine Poolsuite und es war komfortabel. Zum Restaurant/ Beachclub und Strand läuft man über die sehr stark befahrene Straße, die man aber im Wohnbereich nicht wahrnimmt. Parkplätze sind an dieser Straße gelegen, doch auch in der Hochsaison, Silvester, war es kein Problem. Zum Silvesterabend hat es Daniele noch ermöglicht, im Nachbarrestaurant einen der begehrten Tische für uns zu reservieren. Das war ein sehr guter Service! Vielen Dank dafür! Auch das Frühstück war sehr gut und schmackhaft. Man konnte sich an einem reichhaltigen Buffet bedienen.

Im Badezimmer müsste man in dieser Kategorie regelmäßig die Fugen austauschen und streichen. Durch die sehr hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit sind dunkle Flecken im Nassbereich keine schöne Aussicht. Dass sich Gäste noch vor dem Frühstück die besten Plätze auf den begehrten Strandliegen mit ihren Handtüchern reservieren, und dann mal gute 2 Stunden diese nicht benutzen, ist ärgerlich. Hier sollte das Hotelteam darauf hinweisen und es auch unterbinden.

El hotel está un poco deteriorado

Ubicación inmejorable frente al mar (cruzando la calle accedes al restaurante sobre el mar). Excelente relación calidad/precio (con tarifa de baja temporada y estadía prolongada).

El jardín requiere está muy descuidado. Las habitaciones les vendría bien alguna renovación sobre todo los baños que tienen olor a caño.

Very nice location close to the beach

We had an inconvenience when we arrived, we booked a deluxe superior room with a king bed, however they assigned us a room with 2 beds and mentioned we should specify in the reservation we need need 1 bed ( no make sense if i choose this previously), after sone conversations with the manager and keeping my position and didn’t accept the room the assigned, they finally give us the right room with 1 bed for my husband and I.

Desayuno , comida y cena muy buena

Everything went well. Food, beach, facilities were exceptional. Beautiful place.

After many years we were excited to stay at Le Cameleon. DON’T DO IT!!! The Caribbean side of Costa Rica is fabulous, just stay somewhere else.

It was a disaster from the start. Arrived at 2:35 pm after a long, difficult drive. Room not ready. Came back at 4, room not ready. Staff did not care-left us outside with a child in the heat for several hours. Gave us a free drink at 5pm. I kept inquiring if the room was ready. Finally after 8 pm as I was looking for other accommodations-the room was supposedly ready. We went to the room-there was only one towel for 4 people and the room was dirty. Ashtray with cigarette butt on patio & used musty beach towels. The theme of the hotel is white which is not a great idea if the room is not going to be cleaned. NO WATER -every night the water was shut off or out. Could not take a shower or flush toilet. The manager did not say one word to us and no compensation or care was given. There were several other people that were treated this way-some gave up & left. Booking.com is of no help either. We are out hundreds of dollars and vacation ruined. There are other little annoying items that are not worth mentioning.

Everything was great. The location is beautiful on the beach and only few minutes from the town center, there are different restaurants from walking distance. The staff was nice and very helpful, the rooms always clean. There are 3 pool including one facing the beach, it’s a very relaxing and boutique beach resort like environment. They offer a lot of free activities with awesome instructors. I loved doing the yoga classes and aquagym, but also discovering aerial yoga/gym. There plenty of sloths within the hotel precincts which makes the experience even more magical.

Nothing really, the rooms could use a better lighting as it was rather dark during the day on the first floor- ground floor due to all the vegetation, but besides that nothing!

Location was great and all the staff were friendly and helpful. The food we had, both breakfast and dinner were very good. It all comes down to problems with the facilities.

The door key cards were consistently problematic, the AC was hanging on by a thread, overpriced for value of the hotel. It was more like a 3 star hotel with 5 star prices. The lack of quality on doors and throughout were evident.

At the breakfast time we've had a lot of meal choices. Like, omelette, local fruits, fresh and healthy energisers. The beach was incredible, with clear water and a pleasure to have a morning walk. All the daily activities we're very relaxed and pleased to practice it. Room exceeded my expectations, all white, clean, room staffs are very responsive. In general, Le Cameleon is well placed. Humidity, and I would recommend to have an dry service without charge. Even after washing the clothes becomes very humid. Guests will appreciate very much as an bonus for staying time at the hotel.

The location was great - near the water and sloths in trees on the property.

Despite repeated requests they could never get the a/c to work in the room. It was very hot. Also the bathroom facilities seemed dated. Water out of one faucet was a fire hydrant and out of the shower from one large hole in the middle

Service staff were excellent. Pool was great. Loved the classes and activities offered.

The idea of an all white room in the jungle is a little difficult in practice and room often looked dirty even though the cleaners were excellent. The prices were outrageously expensive. We stayed two weeks and it was 3k. I needed to extend for another two weeks and we were told the best they could do was 5k. I'm sorry what? The food was boring. Especially breakfast. The exception to that is the juice shots that were available everyday. That was interesting and fun. But the fruit offerings considering it's a tropical lush location were uninspired. It was watermelon, pineapple, and either papaya or cantaloupe. Never changed never had more. The juices for sometimes good and sometimes absolutely awful. They made a fresh orange everyday which was always reliable then one other. In the two weeks that I was there, the second juice was outstanding maybe four times. The rest of the time I would take a sip and then put it down. Lunch and dinner were equally boring. Their menu does not have great variety and it's really expensive. Dinner there for more than a couple nights was hard. They do have a really cool dance show on Saturday night. That's definitely worth checking out. As for the hotel the pool was great, staff are really cool. One of my biggest issues stems from the fact that the hotel itself didn't seem like it had tried to integrate with the surrounding community. I asked several times for recommendations or for questions about different guides and they only had like one person that they can recommend and it was someone that was inordinately expensive for what they were offering. And when I gave him that feedback afterwards they had no idea that he was way out priced. I just feel like they dropped their hotel down in the middle of a established community and then didn't bother to find out anything about that community. Which is a shame because it's a really cool community.

Perfect private beach, great restaurant, very well managed and super friendly staff. Was eating soooo many delicious pizzas there :)

The location is perfect and everyone is very friendly

The restaurant, food was average and we had multiple people serving us, there was no management. The free Breakfast was nice touch but the food was limited and there were so many flies everywhere, was hard to keep them away !

We had a very nice time at Le Chameleon. Spent about a week of our honeymoon there and everything was just perfect, the staff even welcomed us with a little surprise. Aside from the beach and the pools, which are just as described two things were especially amazing. First, the daily activities were really fun, had a couple of dance classes and other interesting things. Second, we spotted quite a few cute animals right on the premises, sloths, agutis and even monkeys. We certainly hope to return soon and can definitely recommend a stay at Le Cameleon!

Maybe the restaurant is a little bit pricey, but very nicely located.

The breakfast was OK and the staff was generally helpful.

Smelly, noisy, way overpriced, small pools, screaming children, unwelcoming beach, inconvenient location, the whole infrastructure needs a brave reconstruction and paint job.
