Lovely warm, helpful welcome. Generous breakfast, lovely room. 20 minute drive to Norwich centre or the Norwich Showground.
Room was directly above the bar so was a little noisy, very thin partition walls to adjoining rooms and I could clearly hear conversations whilst I was in the ensuite.
Although the accommodation was clean overall, the bathroom had a lot of black mildew in areas that just needed a good scrub.
I left the sign out for a room clean as my son had dirtied the bedding but it wasn’t changed, as far as I could tell the only change was a top up of bags. As I was paying the same amount per night, I would have expected clean bedding to be put on.

It was a lovely setting, clean tidy and tastefully decorated. The rooms were very comfortable and spacious.
The only very minor point would be to suggest that small fridges are put in the rooms.

We have stayed at the Black Swan Inn a fewctimes now and always find it very comfortable and a pleasant place to stay.
Breakfast is very tasty and filling with a good choice.
The only down side with our stay was that there was a humming mechanical sound all night outside our room, we did mention this to reception when we checked out in the morning.

The staff are very polite and friendly , rooms are very clean and warm, great value for money.
If there was one thing I could change , it would be the eve food although I can not fault the taste or quality. The portion sizes need attention, very very small . It's the only reason I would not return

As always when we stay at the Black Swan Inn everything was as we expected, the staff are always polite, accommodating and nothing is too much trouble. The room was very comfy and the breakfast was superb with a great choice.

Very cold no heating.
When booked it stated breakfast started at 7 but when I got to the property I was told breakfast was 8 o'clock at the earliest which means I missed out on breakfast. If I had known I would of booked somewhere else.

We stayed one night after dropping our child at University of East Anglia. From the listing, it looked clean, well-located and a good value. Once we arrived we saw that it was SO much more than that. The hotel is absolutely adorable, with a perfect mix of modern and classically cozy. The room was well designed with all of the amenities you’d expect. The room was absolutely spotless (as well as the rest of the hotel). The staff was super friendly and the meals were ample, delicious and also a great value.
Honestly, it was a perfect stay.

Cleanliness of room wasnt up to standard. Noise of water running and flushing from next door bathrooms. Spiders were in rooms and dust. No blackout curtains so car lights shone through.
