The Shaden resort had various facilities that were amazing, the gym, pool and sauna were my favourites but nothing beats the view, specially at sunset

Beautiful hotel setting in rock formations. The pool area is lovely and the restaurant is in a little secluded nook around the back.

Whilst it’s understandable that the resort is expanding, there was a lot of building work going on during our visit.

This resort is located in a gorgeous landscape and pretty close to everything

This resort is getting old (works on going so it might change soon). The personal at reception is absolutely not friendly and just there for charging you (no explanation where you room is located or even the restaurant). Food is correct.

The location is absolutely amazing, the staff was very nice and helpful. The pool and gym are very agreeable.

The food and coffee at the restaurant were not really good, and the bathroom in the room looks a bit old. The phone in our room was not working and we mentioned it but it didn't get fixed. But the overall Shaden experience was great and I would recommend it!

We were 3 couples and 4 children we cooked 7 rooms but when we went to Shaden my son said he doesn’t want to stay in room better to take big villa so we paid more and took 2 big villas with pool and breakfast and dinner included so naturally we paid more then receptionist said that dinner is free for all the members so we went to have dinner the first day but the Egyption manager I am sorry to say was very very disrespectful coz while we were eating he called the waiter and said that he wants to talk to us instead of coming to us he wanted one of us to leave our dinner n meet him so our friends husband he went to talk to him so he said u booked rooms for 10 adults and u have 12 members and it is not allowed so we told him that we are not taking rooms we have taken 2 big villas and still he continued argue iG and next day he told in the restaurant to let only 8 members to eat but my booking since beginning was for 10 adults We didn’t like his attitude we didn’t like his customer service instead of making us feel welcoming he made us feel guilty of staying and eating dinner next time I will really think twice before staying in Shaden better this manager should learn how to deal with the guests and I have seen him being rude with his staff also the staff should love him but I saw them scared of him

staff is lovely the woman at the counter was very polite and helpful and she spoke English she made my experience nice. Property is very close to all the main sites and 10 minutes from winter park. The rooms are cozy and clean with plenty of space. Something doesn’t feel right about the property it seems to be very underdeveloped. lots of construction going on and unfinished buildings. price is expensive for the lack of entertainment and things to do. buffet food is bland but they give you many options.

I wish there was more to do on the property. No activities, no place to have fun or meet anyone. Everything is far to get to from the room you have to call a transport to take you to everything.

Architecture of the resort

It was clean and comfortable. Great location close to Elephant Rock and Hegara. Staff were pleasant.

Poor directions within resort. No signs pointing how to get from reception to our room/bungalow. Very difficult door opening. Two of us tried before calling staff to help. Restaurant was hard to find... no signs. Food was OK, buffet with usual... kabsa, grill, etc.
