i stayed on a winterday, with freezing temperature in Munich. the room had not well isolated old Windows, you could feel the cold and wind entering through it. Made the room very unconrtable.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the room is very large and nicely furnished! The location of the hotel is very central and in less than 10 mins you can reach Odeonplatz, Munich Residence and the English Garden.

Facilities are unfortunately on the lacking side. The bed was too squeaky, waking me up every time I moved during the night, Wifi reception was very weak at some points in the room. Some options for breakfast were not replaced if they ran out, even if you've gone an hour before breakfast's end. One of the heaters was making weird noises, so I turned it off, soon after another one started doing the same, and then stopped working altogether. This means we were left with one functioning heater, which made the room a bit chilly at some points during the night. Also, the room description said it would have Coffee\Tea making facilities in the room. There was none of that though.

Curtains in the room were horrible, light is there directly during sunshine, and the price is pretty high

Every staff member we met, and there were several, was wonderful. They all were friendly, caring, and over-the-top helpful. We felt so at home and well cared for. They were considerate and thoughtful whether about when to clean the room or advice about places not to miss. Absolutely marvelous.
