The distinction between the price I paid for my stay via booking and I would paid directly at the hotel was 120 EUR, per only 3 nights. The profit made by booking raised the price 35%.

I will describe 3 cases: 1.Danger: Can’t leave the keys at the reception for cleaning because they open all rooms on the floor but clean only one after the others. So, all doors are open and anyone can come and steal things from the room. Rooms are left open during a couple of hours without the cleaner being in the room we have decided not to leave the key as we don’t want things to be robbed. It’s dangerous and not correct. Also there is renovation in the hotel ( strange that during the hot season), therefore there are people from outside the hotel . If something will be stolen , who is responsible? 2.Sand in the bed : we came for the first night and !! Find sand in the bed. And no wash products, so, the cleaning ladies did not clean the room yet or forgot about the bed. We tried to explain this to the reception but they say that it’s not true even if she touched bed herself and felt the sand. Crazy! 3.Swimming pool . We wanted to move our sun umbrella to be in the shade, the woman started yelling at us saying that we are not allowed to touch them. Another time we wanted to lie down on a sun bed near the pool, another woman working at the hotel began to shout (scream loudly) that we can’t, this is for hotel customers !!! but we are the customers of the hotel !! then another said, yes, there was a mistake. In 30 years of travel, we have never met such a miserable and disgusting service in our lives. Did not even imagine that you can scream at a clients of the hotel. The villa of the hotel owner stay just next door near the hotel, pool is between. They consider the hotel as their 2nd home, their kids and friends are always in the pool. They don’t care that we are the guest and just want to spend nice holidays , without stress.

What’s NOT to love about this place. We had one of the junior suites and it was beautiful! The room was very elegant and had a whirlpool/jacuzzi. The hotel staff were very pleasant and check-in/check-out was easy. We didn’t have the opportunity to use the pool, but we peeked in at the pool and it looked really fun. The location is close to Lido Varca D’Oro and many restaurants. 10/10 highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

It’s not a “dislike” but more of a “keep-in-mind”, breakfast is from 0700-1000, typically my husband and I would choose to go to breakfast later to avoid the bulk of the crowd. We arrived in the breakfast area at 9:32 and was seated at 9:51. We enjoyed an espresso while we waited, but the dining area is small (6 tables with 4 chairs per table) and you had to wait for a table to become available. The breakfast is self serve, but really good, fresh pastries, blood orange juice, coffee services, cereal, hard-boiled eggs, toast, meat, cheeses, and spreads. So, don’t be alarmed by the wait, it’s worth it.

It was under construction and VERY NOISY! constant drilling, banging and hammering. we were assured it would stop - it would for 5 minutes and then start up again. We ended up having to leave as we could not get rest and recover from our jet lag.

The floor was not cleaned. The stay during the night was not quite at all. During the midnight someone was walking on heels for more than 20 minutes.

The pool was not open and it was not understandable prior travel (warm spring time).

Hotel is good located and stuff was friendly and helpful as it should be. Clean and not crowded pool is very well. To conclude, it is preferable.

Our air contioner got out of order in the evening with a bad smell, since it was evening, they could not repair and could not meet my request to change our room because hotel was full. I can understand that and not big problem for me.

No pool open was very hot ,no air conditioning,he fridge turnd off in night then came back on was like that all week, ruined our food,water everywhere

At busy times, said “loving couples” were pretty loud next-door.

Room was spacious and the female staff were super friendly. WiFi in the room was good.

Breakfast was really poor and the dining area very small, just glad that the hotel wasn't busy. Redevelopment work meant that the hotel was noisy a lot of the time.
