We were greeted and shown to our room by the friendly owner. The room was beautifully presented and surprising large. It was on par with an exclusive hotel room. It was a very comfortable space. Breakfast was included. This was a full continental and cooked breakfast. It was beautifully presented and very tasty.

We could not fault the room, service or location.

The view over the bay is stunning, especially from the upstairs room. The house is in a quiet neighbourhood, close to the Haruku falls. Mike is a very kind and helpful person, offering lots of advise in advance (you will get an email from him when you book) and while we were there. The breakfast is also very delicious.

Everything was really exceeding our expectations. We could have cooked some mussels if the room had a small plate to cook, which was clear that is has not. The room just has a fridge, but not a full kitchen.

Extremely clean and well furnished, lovely views, very comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast very much.

it is about 5mins drive from main town, or 15mins to kerikeri so do need a car (plenty of parking though)

mike is an excellent host very informative about places around the area, nice views from the balcony, big and spacious.

Breakfast was amazing. Mikes knowledge of the area was so appreciated and helpful. Very quiet, views were breathtaking and after a day of activities the spa was divine so be able to soak in.

Loved everything about our stay. Fabulous breakfast, Seaview, location great. Mike was a wonderful host, even shared home baking with us.

Absolutely nothing not to like

Host was very friendly and full of information on what activities were in the area. Breakfast was amazing! Bed was very comfy - really enjoyed our time away.

We totally liked the spacious room and the marvellous ocean view from the room. Mike was so good and made sure we have a comfy stay. He served us both day amazing breakfast and being a local gave us his years of travel wisdom. We had a great time here and we will surely be staying again here in our next visit to Paihia...

Super clean, spacious rooms. Facilities were great and convenient. Mike was a fantastic host, alongside his dog Wookiee which made the experience that more enjoyable. Beautiful breakfast, accompanied by a gorgeous view of Waitangi and the bays. Don’t hesitate when booking!

That we had to leave!

We enjoyed the beautiful views, and the comfortable, clean, private room. We loved how the spa is conveniently situated just outside the ranch slider. The spa is protected and private but we still get to gaze at the view. The breakfast was very special, great variety and delicious. We chose the cooked breakfast after we finished the fruit, muesli and yogurt. We also enjoyed the fresh orange juice and plunger coffee. Mike was so helpful, informative and very good at making us feel welcome, especially at breakfast time.

Mike was amazing! His service was excellent, we enjoyed the breakfast. Mike also provided us with some fantastic trip advice and maps for sight seeing spots & activities. We enjoyed our stay to the fullest! The location was amazing with blissful views from our front porch anytime of the day or night.

So quiet and private with a great host

Mike is a great host, wonderful breakfasts, room service and all the local information. The bed is huge and comfortable, and the unit was absolutely spotless. Each time we came back from a day out it was like coming home. And then there was the Amazing view.... We had the upstairs room so could see it from our bed and the deck at breakfast - (which was the best I've ever had at a bnb!) . You should love your stay.
