Spacious, comfortable apartment, very well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed. The weather was not suitable for swimming, we did not use the pool in the beautiful little garden, but it was spacious and clean. The apartment has two TVs and a bathroom with towels and bathrobes. All the textiles had a very delicate scent. The staff was very kind and helpful.

Breakfast was unfortunately not plentiful and when I asked the staff the second morning to fry me eggs instead of scrambled eggs unfortunately they didn’t do it.

Shower low debit, water boiler not good and other small things

The apartment (Christina) was really nice; good quality bed and a (small) kitchen but with the equipments you need. They changed the towels, cleaned the floor and toilet en changed the waste bins every other day, so that was perfect. Beautiful garden and pool with nice beds and free towels. The breakfast was complete every morning, with every day another style of eggs, small croissants, salat and pastry. Porto Cristo is very nearby, to walk around and have dinner. Also the nice beach Cala Anguila was a short drive by car.

The bathroom had some trendy black elements, like the shower and tap. Unfortunately there was a lot of chalk, especially on the shower(tube). Also the black coating of the showertube was in some parts broken with a small leakage, and there was some rust (also in the bath). So my advise to the Sa Vaqueria for the optimal stay / experience; change this! ;) Besides small comment, we really liked the apartment and our stay. However, this chalk/rust made the bathroom looked a bit unhygienic, and that’s a pity because they cleaned the overall apartment quite often. The water pressure was by the way good, only in the evening the water of the shower didn’t get warm but with the warm weather, that was not a big problem to us.

honestly it this is maybe my favorite vacation rental in all the places i have traveled to. the breakfast (and i really really love breakfast) is really super with a lot of different cheeses, fresh bread, pastries, muesli, really good yogurt, fruits that very every day, warm egg/ sausage dishes things that vary every day, etc. and there was even chocolate fondue one morning!! the location is quiet and peaceful but also super close to a harbor town that is cute and not super touristy. the pool is nice and not full of chlorine, a little salty. the staff was super nice. the room was great. it felt like paradise. and there is even a sauna! though we didnt get the chance to try it out. i never say i would go back to places bc i like new places, but i would go back here.

i wouldnt really change anything but just so people know/can prepare, the tap water is not really drinkable (at least not when we stayed in Aug of 2020, because one of the irrigation systems was down/ not in order bc of covid i think), so bring water if you need a lot, although the did have one big bottle in the room for us. but i drink a lot of water so the big bottle was gone in a day and for me this was not so convenient to not have tap water but still definitely ok :)
