We had been given the “Villa” at it was amazing! Regretfully, we only could stay for one night, and it had not allowed us to enjoy amenities at full.
We appreciated the look of the estate, and feeling of staff hospitality. From the first entry to the reception guests are taken care of in very friendly manner, and the lodge structure and functionality is explained.
The PM Game Drive was great experience with guide Atti, who did his best to find the animals, and give the visitors details of the found species behavior.
We were disappointed by the “Rhino Trail” experience. I realize that in wildlife there are no guarantees of the sightings, but walking for 3 hours in the bush without briefing on what we look at, how the rhinos behave, etc had not make us feel engaged much in the activity.
As a result, we felt that this was the most expensive hiking walk of our lifetime 🤪, not more than that.

Mt. Etjo Safari Lodge is an authentic lodge set in the midst of the bush, lovingly crafted to perfectly enjoy the animals and nature in the Okonjati Game Reserve. The rooms were great and the buffet at night with grilled meats were fantastic. Easy 2.5 hour drive from Windhoek. All the staff, including manager Simone were always welcoming and helpful.

The villa was excellent for relaxing, stylish decorated, very private with own garden, pool and hippos in the lake. I can say - the best villa in Namibia. The location is very green and clean. Excellent dinner in a big room around a fire, coffee and cake in the afternoon and good breakfast. Great place for a stop between Etosha and Windhoek.
The whirlpool in the garden was out of order. Check out to 10 am (it`s ok), but in the booking.com description to 12 am.

good facilities and location
we booked 2 rooms with 2 adults and 2 small children. Upon arrival they asked if we wanted 2 rooms or 1 would be enough: we agreed 1 room would be enough, and used only 1 room. Unfortunately we had to pay for 2 rooms, the other room (room 15) was even booked by another couple these nights so they received the money twice for this room. really a shame.

nice area and animals e.g. hippos, pelican, flamingo, etc.
It is way to expensive! Breakfast is on a very low level. Bed linen with holes, room and bathroom needs a renovation, it is very old. lots of hair on the drain in the shower,

Mount Etjo is a big lodge which is very well organised. The food was amazing, and the service as well. The lodge itself has a big pool, and very well kept ground with lush green grass, and many places to stay. The standard rooms are on the older side which does not matter.

The rooms are ample and stylish decorated; the dinner (included) is in a circular large room around a fire: bautiful! The staff (two young ladies in the reception and all other colleagues) are super friendly and will assist you in whatever you need. We stayed only one night (end of holidays) but next time it worth to stay much longer! Great place for resting, reading, painting and if you wish numerous activities around the property.
At the time of the stay - and it was explained to us by the staff - there was a proliferation of inoffensive bugs... in the room. Probably, some geckos would control it (?)

Beautiful garden
We arrived during a power outage. The host did not make a plan to let guests in, so we were stuck outside with no way of communicating. As power down so we’re the phone lines. It is very expensive and then any extras are at additional cost. The food was fair but not up to standard. I would not recommend this property.
