Our room !

it feels like a prison not a vacation destination. the staff was not friendly at all. not accommodating at all. the hotel is so over priced and doesn’t deserve more than 3 stars.

Admiral Grand is undoubtedly one of the best hotels we have stayed in There is nothing left for the client to desire. The breakfast is plentiful and has a huge variety to cater for all tastes The decor is bright light and modern The rooms have everything you need from toiletries to extra bedding, desks, sofas and excepcional views of the Adriatic Sea from a lovely terrace! The facilities are next to none as there are two natural water swimming pools one indoors and one outdoors, spa , gym, art shop jewelry , clothes boutique, tennis courts, and even saunas. And most importantly the staff , we were overwhelmed by the advice given by Vladimir and Maria at reception who were professional , fun . Informative and couldn’t be more helpful , we left early in the morning for the aiport and we had a breakfast pack for us at reception! We needed guidance about the city and culture and we were provided with maps and places to go and also guidance on local events! And always with a welcoming smile! But the most impressive aspect of this trip is without doubt the sea and the bay in which Admiral Grand is based, it has got to be the clearest Jade cristal clear water I’ve ever seen, you don’t need a snorkel to see the sea and the hotel keep it beautifully clean and tidy after all it is private ! You can’t help but relax in a place like this where beach and pool towels are provided for you and the sun beds are immaculate So if you’re thinking of going to Croatia try out Admiral grand in Slano just 50 minutes from Dubrovnik you won’t regret it I feel like this trip has taken 10 years off of me ! We were there 13 years ago when it was nearly open and it was amazing. This time, when we come back we found a hotel far away from a 5 stars hotel. The location is awesome and the beach is in front of the hotel this was the reason why we return after a long time because the sea golf image remained in our mind as amazing. The cost for the services is very high so there is no value for money and no services of 5 stars. The room is very big and clean with a big balcony where you have 2 chairs and a table. The bathroom is very big. In fact we had 2 bathroom for our Suite with Balcony and Side Sea View. One with just toilette and a sink and the master bathroom with bathtub. A plus was the air conditioner with separate controls for every room.

Breakfast is quite simple and everyone eats burnt omelets. The cook had great trouble preparing an omelet or some eggs. There is only fresh glass in the dispenser. We asked for help with some softer pillows because the ones in the room were incredibly strong and we were told that they only have one kind of straight pillow for which my little girl slept on a packed summer quilt because the pillow was impossible to use. The guys on the beach who should have helped you with umbrellas and sunbeds didn't do that. I needed an umbrella and he sent me to pick it up by pointing my finger at it because they had something important to discuss with each other.

Loved the room with the balcony overlooking the harbor of Slano. Bed was extremely comfortable, fast WiFi. The breakfast buffet was outstanding. Also loved the indoor pool and hot tub.

Not a thing..this is a great hotel in a beautiful small village.

Rooms were very roomy with a beautiful views.

There was nothing that we didn't like it was a beautiful property.

Our third time to stay at the hotel and this time as it was our first return to slano since we married here, before the coronavirus pandemic, the hotel went above and beyond by upgrading our room and providing a complimentary bottle of wine. We were thrilled so thanks very much. We had a lovely one night stay at the resort sunbathing by the sea for a full day and enjoying the spa for the evening.

Generally very good, breakfast was just OK for a 5 star but nice to sit outside right by the sea. The room was great with great views and balcony.

Would have been nice to get water in the room everyday. Got one bottle on arrival but no more over the 6 days. We had a family suite which states two bedrooms and lounge with pull out bed. There were 5 of us but only one shower. I thought the bedrooms were ensuite but not.

Very quiet, large rooms, great for R&R, direct sea access - it has all the facilities of a resort, even tennis courts, a big + for me. super friendly staff. this hotel is super well run.

Chaos on the beach, guest are taking and moving up to 3 sun umbrelas/ 2 persons - result missing sun umbrelas, they reserve early in the morning deck chair at pool as well on the see beach, a lot of non hotel guests are using beach equipment especially in the afternoon, nobody is control the situation even that they are beachboys available . Food average quality but good choise . WiFi bad, room average - not 5 star hotel

Everything was perfect. The comfort of the rooms, the staff, food, just everything. Our baby got a fever on the second day after our arrival and the staff helped us a lot and made us feel comfortable and safe!

nothing. All was great. Maybe just a small suggestion - a children's playroom would be great. There are many families with children anyways.

Everything was amazing

Breakfast very good and fresh, with all COVID sanitary care. Staff very helpful and friendly too. Another plus point was the facilities of the hotel and the private beach.

They didn't clean our room during our last day and the pillows were so uncomfortable I didn't have a peaceful night of sleep in my 3-night stay. I suggest the change of pillows urgently!
