The staff were friendly and helpful. They did all the requested decoration perfectly. Whenever they meet us on the hallway, they are always at their biggest smile and greeted us politely.

Really a nice place, with good breakfast included. It was nice to have a pool. The room was cleaned and the staff were really nice.

The only thing that bothered me was that the balcony door is not completly ' sealed' so little flies/mosquito would get into the room. It was worst at night because we kept our light open.

Staff members are awesome! Easy to communicate and they did a great job taking care of us for 10 days. Breakfast is also good. The rooftop dining area is so relaxing. Room is well maintained. Luckily, we did not encounter any power interruption in Casa Montemar, unlike in the Town Proper restaurants

Water pressure in the shower is low. Although we encountered no water in the last 2 days of stay, they managed to fill their reserved water tank early in the morning. I think this was because of the scheduled water interruption in the island.

looks way better online. Spent 3 days here and repeatedly had no electricity and water. Deluxe room doesn’t deserve it’s name. Door to the balcony didn’t close, so we had heat and mosquitoes in our room. Staff was friendly but we wanted a airport shuttle at 6:30 and they told us at first it is booked for that time. As we asked again they said the shuttle will come between 7-7:30, so we probably would have missed our flight .. wouldn’t stay here again. Shower and water tap are not working properly. Power outlet nearly comes off the wall. Aircon is very noisy and many roosters in the neighbourhood which will wake you up in the morning.

Casa Montemar is cosy, comfortable clean place to stay. Worth it. 5 star rating. The room very clean and nice with beautiful panoramic view of the bay. Staff were friendly and very helpful at all times.

- very friendly and helpful staff - easy problem solving —> we ask after one night in a double bed for a room with two single beds, was no problem at all - very nice and tidy pool area, perfect for spending a half day as in Coron there are not any beaches in a walkable distance - they have 2 dogs who are sometimes at the pool area - I am not a dog person but these two fluffy knee-high dogs are so adorable. no barking, no aggressive behavior

Shower was nightmare - sometimes heater worked, sometimes not-you never know you will have cold or good shower. Breakfast very basic, a bit small for Europeans I would say. No water refill. TV wasn't working at all. Wifi only in lobby.

The staffs were very caring, especially Ms. Ann. I had LBM and was constantly vomiting when we get there from El Nido plus at least 4 hours of boat travel from El Nido to Coron. I was really dead tired when we arrived. Miss Ann helped us with our dinner and she handed me tea for me to drink. Thankfully that made me better and I was able to join the tour the following day. She gave us advice with regard to transportation and other tours. I love the view from the roof deck as well as the view from the room window

Good place and breakfast.

You need to watch out for the dogs on the street, especially at night. Roosters from the back of the property sing all night long and you can hear them perfectly from the room so it wasn't a good sleep in the night so I changed the hotel.

good walking distance to town, room was clean, can have sheets changed on request. shower has decent water pressure and was warm. breakfast basic but not too bad - different options available. they organised our van to the airport for us.

they claimed to be an eco hotel but didn’t have anywhere to fill up water bottles - whereas every other hotel we stayed in in the Philippines did! breakfast only served until 8.30am. the bed wasn’t actually a double bed, I think a 1.5size. the air con was very loud (although the same everywhere we stayed in the Philippines), fan didn’t work. occasionally the water stopped working. the pool had dirt/flies all over the surface which meant no one used it - such a shame. the dogs/chickens nearby woke you up so early every morning. Wi-Fi only works in the reception area.

They have very welcoming and hospitable staff.

There was a pool, the staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. Walking distance to restaurants.

The was dog poo by the pool and it wasn’t very clean. Though they did clean it later in the day. There was building work going on next door so very noisy and loads of cockerels crowing. No water filling station.

Provided accommodation is not the same as described - booked for 5 persons but they gave a room for 4 and no wifi inside the room. Bad experience ever
