Stunning views and a close location to the valley

I didn't realise this was an air b n b through booking.com. Probably would have tried to book into a hotel instead if I had known as had to take out our own rubbish. Also very specific instructions about what we could and could not do in the apartment. Most of the listed things would have been done out of common decency anyway however made me anxious about upsetting the neighbours when enjoying a reunion with our friends.

Location was convenient and the accommodation was beautiful and has amazing views of the story bridge

Minor details to fix up like the taps and the paper holder got annoying but nothing major

Problems: Lounge room lights didn’t work Dishwasher didn’t work Main bedroom window broken Towels were old and had bleach marks Had to wash all the crockery as it was stained Bed linen was poor quality

we went swimming around 6:30pm and we knew that the pool shuts at 7:00pm. as we were about to leave the pool this lady from the floor on top of the pool starts yelling at us aggressively asking us to leave immediately as the pool shuts at 7:00pm. she then began to rudely say that she doesn’t tolerate “airbnb people” and that she will report us to the management. lights were also not working downstairs.

Nicely set out two bedroom and two bathroom unit with a great functional balcony. magnificent view of the city and the Story Bridge.

The location

There was only 2 cups that were "normal size" Every aircon vent was covered in dust and were filthy, im allergic to dust mites and asthmatic.. it was awful. There were marks and scuffs everywhere taking away the "penthouse feel" It was a nice thought to provide body wash, shampoo and etc however, it was so water down there was no soap in any of the bottles making it pointless. The idea of booking the apartment private (not booking through the skyline apartments) would not usually be an issue as i have done this many of times before however, its very off putting when the hosts messages you throughout your staying reminding you of the "strict rules". My friends and i would not be staying here again.

Great view! View from the staircase, from one of the bedrooms and the balcony - top notch. Nice and close to Howard Smith Wharves entertainment precinct, very handy. My boys got to swim in the pool on two separate occasions the weather was warm enough for it, which was good. Our designated parking spot was easy to find, access and close enough to the lifts, another positive.

There was a broken kitchen cabinet, some windows were missing there latches. And the sofa bed had a very thin mattress on it. All little maintenance things that would be easily fixed as we would be back again. We loved the location and apartment 🙂

A few windows didn’t have handles to close properly. For an apartment stating that it’s sleeps 8 the sofa bed in the dining area was extremely uncomfortable and needs a better mattress, if we were to have had 2 adults having to share this bed we would have been quiet upset.
