Absolutely a fantastic stay with Dee a very friendly host. Very dog friendly and modern room a massive bath and a comfy soft bed. The brekkie was great and served in the tea room which is a must visit for afternoon teas and cakeeeeeee. We will definitely revisit when in area and good luck Dee with all your great ideas

The property was lovely. The host was great. Breakfast was wonderful. Price was affordable. Parking was secure.
We didn't realize it was right on a main hwy and it was loud. It was hard to sleep because it was a warm night and we had to leave window open. Our room faced west so it was hot in the room and the fan was loud and the traffic was loud. I feel bad giving a less than good review because the host was wonderful, but we didn't sleep well and that's the whole point.. If you stay, ask to be on a room away from the road.

Staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Hotel and room were quiet. Breakfast was good and secure parking was available.

Spotlessly clean, comfortable room with good storage and long mirrors. Good double glazing kept out most of the traffic noise. It was very warm but fans provided which worked well, and quietly. Spacious ensuite. Friendly owner and well cooked breakfast.
While convenient for travel on A1 it wasn't the easiest due to slightly confusing road access. Had to drive around road system twice, a bit frustrating after tiring journey but fine if driver prepared! Also have to drive again to find evening meal. Again, not a problem if you eat before arrival or happy to face traffic again.

Dee was a delight to meet such a good host made us feel so welcome will definitely stay there again her afternoon tea was to die for .

Fabulous warm room. Comfy beds. Everything you needed. Dee is a great host friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious. Would definitely stay again and certainly recommend.

It was very conveniently located for our trip and despite being near a main road was very quiet. The room was more than ample for 2 adults, a baby and a dog. The breakfast selection was good for a small establishment. Secure parking - ideal for our packed car for our long trip. Dee, the host, was really friendly, helpful and accommodating.
I think the room was a touch too hot for our preference (21C all night).
