A great location, a 10 min bus ride into the city with a bus stop right outside. A lovely 30 min walk along the river another day. A great room, amazing food and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly.

Good location. Walking distance to city centre, roughly 25 mins. However, a very good regular bus service from a stop close by. Comfortable room with king size bed, TV, tea and coffee making facilities and lovely en suite. Large breakfast served until 10.00am.

The inn was lovely, great location for our needs. the room was beautiful and clean. There were lovely touches to make it personal. The staff were very friendly, helpful and welcoming. The food was fantastic. We would certainly recommend.

the traditional style of the Plough inn is so beautiful and the bed is so comfortable. the staff could t do enough for us and were so attentive. only a short distance from the city centre made it perfect.

the rooms were spacious, comfortable with all the amenities. The food at the pub was excellent with good variety. The staff were outstanding and couldn’t do enough for the guests.

My only little, tiny negative - the coffee (from a machine) in the pub was awful. It ruined what was a great breakfast for me. A simple cafetière would fix the issue.

Very busy when there. not advised table only for food so ended up having to go on to another pub after meal as our booked and no other seats.

It was a charming place to stay. Highly recommend it to family and friends to visit. Fascinating well-decorated room with a modern bathroom. The breakfast was excellent and the lady who served it was highly accommodating.
