The room was rly nicely decorated and spacious which was nice.
The daily juices included in breakfast was also really nice.
Parking was available too
And hotel reception was super helpful in booking me a tour to Chichen Itza.
The entrance itself was quite underwhelming and didn’t quite look like the photos advertised.

Big room, room interior. Very helpful staff

It was a beautiful hotel, very relaxing and peaceful. We thought the location was ideal, supermarket just down the road and a great base for visiting the beach and other towns. Staff were friendly, especially Blanca in the restaurant.
Would be nice to have some decaf coffee options in the room for people who don’t drink caffeine & the pool could do with better cleaning lots of bugs and dirt at the bottom.

The reception staff were really helpful, the room was gorgeous and clean, the food was wonderful (you can get the non vegan menu here too). We were able to rent bikes really easily and we also booked a tour to Chichen Itza through the hotel and they gave us a box of oatmeal to take out with us which was really lovely of them!
Nothing!

Staff were all very helpful and informative.
During our stay, on day 5 and 6, extremely noisy guests kept us awake late into the night, especially between 5.00am and 6.30am in the early mornings. Also note that you have rats in the ground floor gardens and therefore my wife refused to spend any time outside in the garden.

Location, Parking, Design, Comfortable Beds
Minbar is loud, we had to unplug it to be able to sleep.
Water for the shower or lavatories was always warm or hot water. Never cold.

There was mold in my room. Front desk staff was rude. Location was unsafe. Could not accommodate us after finding mold on the ceiling.

It looked beautiful. The massive bed and layout of the villa were fabulous. Shower and setup were amazing. Lovely balcony to read and chill. Coffee and tea available. Tastefully decorated.
No elevator. I was glad I was only on the first floor!
Then the outlook over the back was unappealing. Construction sites, can be seen through the plants in the back garden. They can’t help that but just be aware.
I also didn’t like all the messages sent to me on WhatsApp trying to sell me on services the hotel offered and requesting reviews of the hotel before I’d even checked out. The check-in was clunky and I didn’t feel very annoyed they collected the information twice.

We stayed at 5 different hotels in our trip and this one had the cleanest room of all! We stayed for 3 nights and loved it.
Nothing I can think of

For the complimentary breakfast the avocado toast with vegan cheese was delicious and the watermelon was my favorite fresh squeezed juice. The room was very comfortable and relaxing, my favorite part of the room was the spacious shower stall and modern shower head- it had excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. They tell you not to drink the water from the faucet so they provided water jugs that you could ask for refills on, my only complaint was that the water was warm and the mini fridge was too small for them to fit inside of without moving the glass shelves. They also provided Wi-Fi which was extremely helpful. They called someone to bring a bike for me which I thought was included in the reservation but I ended up having to pay for it so I might just have read the description wrong.
The location wasn’t the best, it was a 20-30 minute bike ride to the beach, if you had a car that would be better but I’m not sure where you could park it because they don’t have a parking lot and there’s not much street parking. They have taxis everywhere but they are very expensive- $20 one way.
If you take the bus from the airport it’s a 10 minute walk to the hotel from the bus station but you won’t have a sidewalk the whole way so be prepared to walk along the side of the road.

The possibility to access to a beautiful beach club (Diamante K)
The staff is quite pissed off.
The rooms are beautiful but from the bathroom comes a bad smell that permeates the entire room. The position of the air conditioner should be changed because the air flow arrives directly on the bed and is annoying.
It doesn't have a private parking lot.

Loved my stay at Casa Agape! The hotel is in an ideal location in Tulum town, just one block from the main street, within easy walking distance of shops/restaurants/food trucks/nightlife.
The building is beautiful and the room was very clean and cohesively decorated. The bed was comfortable and the A/C worked great. The rooftop pool has a nice view of the town, and the vegan restaurant on the roof is a nice option to have right on the property. We were easily able to park our rental car right in front of the hotel during our entire stay. They give guests access to their sister property's beach club, but we didn't end up using that, so I can't comment on it (with the recent seaweed issues in Tulum, we stuck to cenotes instead - but it is easy to get a taxi to and from the beach area).
The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful, making recommendations and calling us a taxi when we needed one. Overnight they close the main entrance gate, but it is monitored 24/7 so it's not a problem to be let in if you're coming back late. Other reviews have mentioned this hotel gets really noisy at night from the nearby hostel parties, but we actually did not have this issue at all (but visited during the low season).
Overall, this is a really lovely and comfortable place to stay in Tulum town.
A few bugs did manage to get in the room somehow, but you're in the jungle in Tulum, so this is to be expected at any accommodation I would think.
This wasn't a problem, but I should also mention that there is no elevator, so keep this in mind if you have any mobility restrictions.

Breakfast, staff and the room design.
The clubs that are close are very loud at night which was a bit distracting Friday and Saturday night which were the worse.

the room was very big and spacious, and the hotel was in a great location very close to Tulum central.
The staff were horrible, whoever worked the day and afternoon shift were both horrible people. They got annoyed when we asked simple questions, and treated white guests different to us. the breakfast was disgusting and tiny so I would not recommend.

the best place where I stay when in Tulum. I’m sad it’s only for one day. if I came back, will be my first choice! if you rent a bike , the location is amazing for food and beach (20 minutes bike)

The hotel is beautiful, clean and comfortable. also easy to access in Tulum center
It’s not possible to leave the AC on while you’re out, which is a bit of an issue on very hot days as the room takes some time to cool down. Although it is clear the hotel is in the town, it’s worth keeping in mind the beach is quite far from the location

Breakfast was fine (vegan) but not worth a detour

- beautiful room
- comfortable bed
-dirty water in the swimming pool
-loud air condition in the room
- the portion for breakfast is for children (it looked pretty but it was half a toast with some vegetarian ingredients like spinach and beetroot, Coffe and juice) after this hotel breakfast we had to go to the restaurant for normal breakfast.
-the hotel cooperate with company which are renting the bicycles and the personnel form the hotel recommended those bicycles..it was big mistake. the bicycle was in a devastating state.. after 3km we had broken tire in the bicycle.. we wanted to refund the cost and informed the staff but they ignored us..
This is expensive hotel and the quality should be significantly higher.

Rooms were pretty and location was good!
Would have like to have a tv and kettle in the room.

The staff was so helpful. Fili even shared his own books with us. Alex spent a lot of time helping us with reservations and translating Spanish for us. Blanca (waitress in restaurant) was so kind and even brought some food to room to calm husbands upset stomach. This staff is really wonderful.
We loved having access to the beach club at Diamante K. The evening service with candlelight right on the beach was magical.
The constant music. It would have been nice to have more peaceful and softer music in restaurant (especially at breakfast) and by pool. The pool area on the roof could have been a wonderful, peaceful place but music was too loud for our taste. However, we realize that we are older and younger people may have no problems with it.

The staff were absolutely amazing! They were always so helpful and answered any questions I had. We were celebrating an anniversary and they decorated our room with rose petals and brought us champagne! It was beautiful. The rooms are darling, clean and the perfect size. I wish I could rate this place a million times more! 10/10 would recommend
The continental breakfast could of included a few more options or switched out the bread and fruit! But still super yummy

Beautiful hotel, just outside the city center. The restaurants are on walking distance (5 min). The rooms are big and really well designed. The walkin shower is big and comfortabel, sometimes the warm water takes some time. I think this was the biggest bed we have slept in during our trip. The bed is soft, but still oke. The front desk helped us very well, they arranged some bikes for us with delivery and pick-up. The breakfast is served at the restaurant upstairs. There arent many options for breakfast, this could be improved. The restaurant itself wasnt busy during our stay. The swimming pool is also upstairs, but yes the pool is to small to swim. Its just a small dipping pool.
It didnt bother us, but the sound disturbance of a party hostel across the street is true. Altough its caused by the people screaming and yelling. The staff gives tips to close windows and doors, this reduces the sound. In my opinion casa agape cant do much about this, sound plugs will help.
