Joanne and Bills suite is spacious, clean and,importantly, quiet at night. Within short walking distance of a supermarket and liquor store. We spent two nights there and had everything we needed except a hair dryer. If there was one there I couldn’t find it.

We were very pleasantly surprised by this understated VRBO. The description is very accurate, but what I noticed deserves a few accolades. The suite was spotless, and thoroughly cleaned with ample towels and dishcloths, etc. The kitchen is extremely well equipped, and even though I didn't do it, a person could conceivably cook a full meal in this well equipped kitchen. Because the suite is a walk down to a basement suite, I expected the lighting to be dull, but with the larger windows in each room, and with the lighting features in the suite, there was plenty of natural light, even on a cloudy day. The owners were excellent communicators, and though a BBQ is not advertised, they were able to put together a table top BBQ for us, and create a bit of shared outdoor space which we utilized when the weather permitted. This space is perfect for a couple since the suite is divided nicely into four areas: bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room. By the way the living room fireplace is excellent for heating the suite if you were to find it a bit cool which was a pleasant surprise since often the fireplaces are just decorative, and don't serve as a heat source. About the location...if a person is looking to be walking distance from the more trendy downtown of Kamloops admittedly, this is a bit more of a suburb and so you will be driving. For us we didn't mind the driving because the suite was perfect for our needs, but also it should be noted that the suite is on a quiet street, and even though I didn't do it, I think it must be very walkable. I saw lots of people out walking dogs etc. Also about 400 metres away is a grocery store, gas station etc, and about 600 metres away a local pub. So if walkability is a key factor for clients, it is absolutely walkable for essentials, and even an evening out. If you are looking for a quality VRBO and are content being located in the suburbs, this VRBO will not disappoint. I would definitely rent this space again on another trip to Kamloops, and next time I would definitely take advantage of the walkability to the nearby pub! Brenda and John

Overall a good stay. JoAnn and Bill were very friendly and helpful. I did not enjoy the sheets. Though washed, they still had blood stains under the pillow. JoAnn replaced them quickly but they should not have been there. The only negative of our stay.

Location was perfect for my stay. Quiet rental with lots of amenities within the unit. Would recommend.

It was wonderful.

This is a spacious and comfortable one bedroom apartment. It has all the amenities one might need (except a hair dryer - Bill and Joanne said they'd do something about that). The hosts were very welcoming and friendly. There is a mall with all the basic necessities (liquor store, groceries) a very short walk away. Highly recommended!

Never had a problem

Very reasonable price for such a clean basement suite with great amenities! It was so nice to have a full kitchen and a cozy living room with a fireplace!
