Great location to down town, clean, quite and good layout. It is under the house but like mid height to the ground. So it doesn't feel like you are in a basement to much. Very easy to check in and out.

This is our second stay in the past 9 months. The location is excellent with rear street parking. The basement apartment is well furnished and Bruce is a great host. This is our “go to” place in Glenwood Springs.

We had a great stay here! The kitchen and the apartment are well appointed and had everything we needed. The location is super walkable too. Communication with the owner was a breeze, they were also flexible with our dates after I made a scheduling mistake. Much appreciated. We will be back!

Close to shopping and good restaurants. The apartment was extremely clean. Great pots,pans, and knives for cooking! Nice outside patio. Definitely bring your own coffee because it is not provided and extra toilet paper.

We ended a week long family ski trip at the Pitkin house. It had everything needed for a family of four. The build out of the apartment was really well thought out and high quality. Very clean and comfortable. The location was as good as it gets for exploring Glenwood. We were able to walk to everythjng with an easy 5 min walk. We loved the place, Bruce was a great host and we will be back for sure.

This place was in a wonderful location. It was easy to access and 5min from everything we wanted to do. It was clean and as pictured. The fireplace was awesome my family loved it. The couch bed was easy to assemble and put up so we could use the couch as a family before bed. The only reason I gave this 4/5 stars is because the bathroom faucet leaked badly everytime it was on and water got everywhere on the sink. Also I didn't realize this was a basement apartment below someone's house. When we were trying to sleep we could here people walking around etc and also early in the morning. That is probably normal in any apartment. Overall it was a great experince. The owners communicated well and we enjoyed our stay.

We loved the Pitkin Vacation house! It had lots of room for our family! It’s very clean and we loved that we could walk to restaurants. Great place- will definitely be back!

We love staying here, it was our 2nd time and we have not found a better place to stay so close to walking to dinner and shops. We drive over to iron mtn hot springs and walk everywhere else. The river walkway is also close. The apartment is clean, full kitchen(haven't cooked here yet didn't scope out utensils and cookery) we just need coffee pot and fridge, washer and dryer is available for our robes and swim suits. Neighbor is friendly, host is friendly and lives upstairs, he is not intrusive, but available if you need him. Thanks for providing a relaxing place to stay Bruce! Until next time.

Pitkin House has everything we wanted - parking on site, walking distance to town, full kitchen, with a king bed in a quiet neighborhood. Double thumbs up to Bruce K, our host, for supplying an electric kettle upon request. And many thanks to Bruce for sharing the delicious tomatoes and pepper from his garden. Friendly next door neighbors too. We’ll return to Pitkin House again.

The property is well-maintained and conveniently located. A well-stocked kitchen, comfortable bed, and nice living space make this an ideal location, particularly for access to downtown Glenwood Springs. The parking alone is worth the price of admission since it is a 5 minute walk to town tops and parking downtown can be challenging. The property checks all the boxes. The owner lives upstairs and can assist if there are any issues, although we experienced none. Highly recommended.

Exactly as described and Bruce was awesome to work with. Great location walking distance to restaurant row and bike trails. We've never been to Colorado and Glenwood Springs was a perfect laid back spot! Basement apartment with full kitchen totally remodeled and clean. Outdoor patio with view of mountains in the back amazing! The neighbors were very friendly and helped suggest great places to eat. We hiked biked and sat in the hot springs. Thanks Bruce for having such a great location for our first Colorado adventure!

Bruce was quick to respond to my questions and issues. The place was very clean. It’s in a basement, so be prepared for it be a little dark, but that didn’t bother us personally.

We stayed here for 2 nights and it’s a great location to the downtown area. The hot springs are 5 mins away with tons shopping with places to eat. The gas fire place was awesome, the kitchen and bathroom are super nice. Great trip!

Very nice property with lovely decor and modern well equipped kitchen. Narrow stairs in front entrance and fewer, wider stairs in back to this garden level apartment. Only downsides were TVs - only streaming services available- and many things like microwave, towel racks, & bathroom sink are mounted quite high. Enjoyed our stay - would recommend.
