We enjoyed our stay at this home. All was as expected and we really enjoyed the back yard with hot tub and fire pit. Plus a beautiful short walk to Ledbetter beach and cove. Plenty of towels and soaps!

We had an amazing stay in Santa Barbara! The house was exactly as described. The layout of the house was great for our group of six. We all felt comfortable and loved the vibe there. The neighborhood felt quiet and the location was perfect. Host was always quick to respond and was patient with any and all questions I had. I would definitely stay here again!

We had a short stay at this lovely home by the beach. My daughter, her husband and my granddaughter joined us. We loved the beautifully manicured front and backyard, fully fenced for our Lulu! Inside we found our bedrooms with lovely bedding, nicely stocked kitchen with modern appliances and dishes. The backyard had a relaxing hot tub with a fire pit and cushioned relaxing furniture!
Our Host was so responsive to our very few needs. He knows how to make our stay the best it can be. Welcomed us with freshly ground coffee (since our adult children are sober) instead of wine, per my request. Also, he sent over homemade breakfast burritos to make our day start out better the second day due to construction noises the morning before. Somehow he stopped the noise for the rest of our stay. It was amazing!
We will definitely return when we go to Santa Barbara again! 5 out of 5 star rating!

The house was well appointed and very comfortable for four adults. Brent was helpful and communicative. Appreciated the nice bottle of wine welcome gift. The place could not have been better located, with easy access to almost everything, including the beach, by foot or the well-maintained bicycles. Would absolutely stay here again.

We really loved staying at this house, and it was a pleasure working with Brent who was very helpful throughout our check in and stay. Property was just as it was described in the listing - great corner lot with a short 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The location was ideal for us and the Mesa is always such a beautiful area to be. Backyard was great for family dinners, bbq’ing and hot tubbing. Felt very private and secluded with beautiful plants and garden.
House itself is comfortable and spacious. It’s the type of place you feel at home in right away. Bathrooms were nice, kitchen was very well stocked and had beautiful countertops Our Labrador retriever enjoyed laying on the cool wood floors after a long day playing at the beach. At night we would enjoy watching the stars outside and the fun decorative lights strung around everywhere.
Overall a very nice property and home and we would highly recommend it to anybody looking for a relaxing beach getaway in a wonderful neighborhood. We would certainly come stay again.

My family went to Santa Barbara for a very sad occasion, the memorial for our son in-law. I needed a house that would provide peace and tranquility the evening before and after the memorial for my daughter and grandson. This house was perfect. Beautiful inside and the backyard provided the space, peace and tranquility we needed.

The house looks like someone decided to make some extra money by renting during COVID. There are new elements throughout the house that are covering pieces that are falling apart. The floors have so many soft spots, I’m pretty sure if you step to hard you will go through the ground. It is very old and beat up in the bathrooms and kitchen. The laundry is outside in a wood shed that looks like it was jerry rigged at the last minute.
When we first arrived, we noticed there were a TON of spiders. We opened one of the rooms sliding glass doors and a brown recluse scurried into the doorframe. I know they mentioned they do not spray for spiders or bugs, but THEY ARE EVERYWHERE. If you have arachnophobia I would consider staying elsewhere. We also discovered mice droppings in one of the kitchen drawers.
This is not a young, kid friendly home. The kitchen table is unstable and very difficult for small children to eat at. We had to watch out for our children outside because of all the spiders. When we first got there we had to remove pieces from the wall in one of the rooms as we had 2 cribs with infants sleeping in there. It was not secured to the wall properly and could have fallen.
After we departed, the property manager contacted us for “damage” he said we had done to the house. He tried to scam money out of us through the cleaning fee a week later as well. Terrible service. STAY ELSEWHERE.

My friends and I had a great time at the house. It’s exactly like the pictures. Very easy to enter and the rules and requirements were all laid out. The rooms were comfortable and clean. I would stay here again if planning another trip to Santa Barbara.

The house is a nice little beach house. Its interior is decent not great. Decorations are lacking a bit, but its clean. Upgrades seem to have been done on the more inexpensive route. Lacks general polished finish. The floors are wooden and its an elevated floor so its quite noisy to walk on. Overall its a solid mid-tier property.

Comfortable and well equipped property in excellent location which allowed US and UK family members to have great time out and about on the beach and city, using the bikes and then enjoying the sunshine in the relaxed garden and hot tub. Beautiful space….very clean and the pictures were a true reflection of the home. We appreciated the thoughtful welcome bottle of wine. Location was great! We walked to the beach and got an Uber downtown; both were easy and quick. Brent was great to work with. Highly recommend, we will be back!

My husband and I celebrated a wedding weekend for friends and had a great stay at Brent's place in Santa Barbara. The house has well-appointed furniture and my husband and our friends especially appreciated the awesome backyard area, with patio seating, a jacuzzi hot tub, and plenty of space to hang out and enjoy the sunshine. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was sparkling clean, and overall it was a great stay.
Brent had great communication and provided a very complete document on the house, wifi information, and things to do around town. Great stay! Would recommend!

I always go to VRBO for my rentals and once again they did not disappoint with this house. Brent was awesome with his communications and even left us a bottle of wine and 2 Pointsettas for the holiday. The bed rooms although not spacious are clean and well furnished with plenty of bedding and bathrobes. Great for the hot tub. The backyard offers additional living space and it is super welcoming with the white twinkle lights, hot tub, firepit and picnic table.

We were in Santa Barbara for a wedding and this house was perfect for our group of friends. Loved being so close to the beach and we used the bikes provided and took an early morning bike ride to downtown for coffee. Spent time in the backyard and the hot tub was enjoyable. Would definitely come back to this house!

Beautiful Property and Location
Wow! Our family group had such a lovely stay. The house was clean and well laid out. The yard, both front and back, wonderful to spend time in. The location was amazing! A quick and easy walk to the beach and a 5 minute drive to downtown. The property manager was so friendly and helpful. We cannot say enough about how much we enjoyed this most fabulous property in beautiful Santa Barbara!

We had a wonderful SB trip with our children and grandchildren. Very short walk to the beach and 5 minute drive to Hendrys - the dog beach. The house was great and we loved hanging out in the backyard. Brent was accessible and really great.

I would give this 0 stars if possible, from the eight dead rodents with accompanying maggots to the behavior of the host, this stay was horrible. There is a rat problem at the house. The morning after our arrival we woke up to maggots on one side of the house. Upon alerting the host he first wanted to spray an indoor pest spray. He ended up calling a pest control company & then Brent proceeded to lie to us saying they removed one dead rat, and the pest control company informed us there were eight. We had maggots every day of our stay and found rat feces on top of the refrigerator. He threatened us saying he would take our security deposit if I reviewed this home and let people know about the extreme rodent problem. We left early due to the rodent and maggot problem. Even if the rodent problem is solved I would not recommend this house due to the host’s behavior. My aunt & uncle who live in the neighborhood (senior citizens) stopped by with breakfast each morning, he yelled at us about outside visitors. He mentions watching us in videos, this was not only disturbing but he claimed many false things. The house itself is not terrible aside from rodents & maggots. I would not recommend this home for a stay. I am anticipating the host to reply with lies and aim to discredit me as a person. I already lost time and had a poor experience, while I likely will be berated for this review I do hope to save other travelers from having a similar experience.

A Must-Stay!
My friends, family and I had a wonderful experience staying at this property for my birthday weekend. The location was wonderful and so close to the beach. The bedding in all the bedrooms was 10/10! Would definitely recommend staying here if you’re looking to visit the Santa Barbara area. Great for groups and small family gatherings. The hot tub was also a plus given the cooler winter evenings. Thanks again!
