The house was perfect for our family of 3. Cute bungalow on a quiet cul-de-sac, walking distance to all the shops and restaurants on State street. Spacious, well-stocked kitchen. Washer & Dryer. The inside of the house was very clean, though the grounds could use a little sweep for cobwebs, etc. We would definitely stay again!

This was the second “Craftsman” type property we rented on our trip. Very clean…had all the necessary amenities as listed. Easy neighborhood to navigate to via auto or walking. Can walk to the major areas in town as well as to the beach…although the beach walk is a long one. Odd layout of house, but workable. Not a lot of fancy touches….If you wish a fancy place with lots of fancy amenities…this is not for you…but if you just need something clean and quiet it will work.

PROS -very good location and close to downtown -super clean -lots of hot running water -reasonably priced -comfy bed and linens -lots of soft shower towels -well stocked kitchen -very nice front porch for early morning coffee -nice backyard but did not use -roomy and open floor plan -nice neighborhood- clean and safe CONS -only bathroom was in kids' room and pretty small -no air conditioning and house got pretty HOT - needed more fans in all the rooms -it would be nice to provide coffee and creamer -ran out of toilet paper and could not find extra. Ran to the store. -noisy neighbors across the street with their trucks and stacking party equipment- Friday and Saturday awaken at 3 am with noise and loud talking. Even with ear plugs I was awaken. All in all it was a nice experience and I'd recommend this cozy home!

Location was great! House was stocked well with kitchen supplies and towels. House was well appointed. We didn’t get to take advantage of the backyard, but it was pretty and serene.

Close to state street and beach

We loved our first visit to Santa Barbara - easily walked from the home to downtown and the wharf, enjoyed making meals together. Everything we needed was there in a charming, peaceful setting. Thank you for sharing your home with us!

What a comfortable and cozy yet roomy place to stay! Spacious kitchen that is very well appointed and had everything we could need. Adorable living room and a lovely front porch perfect for sitting and listening to the birds. Plenty of beds and a bathroom that completely met our needs. Also a very quiet location in walking distance to downtown.

Wonderful. We only needed housing for a wedding event and it accommodates us fine. Had everything we needed. A little tough to get up the driveway with my long truck only due to street parking blocking the drive. But we had plenty of parking space in the driveway. Lovely patio and overall we loved the stay.

The house was cute and comfy, they even placed fresh flowers throughout which was such a nice touch. Great neighborhood, close to everything. Will definitely stay again for future trips.

In town for a wedding at the courthouse. Parking in Santa Barbara is difficult. So having a driveway that easily accomodated 3 vihicles was wonderful. The home is within walking distance to downtown and the beachfront. Very clean and cozy.

Enjoyed staying at this quaint cottage. It met our needs well and the location was great. Easy to walk downtown and to the beach. Loved that it had off street parking. We will definitely stay here again.

The location of this home can’t be beat! A short, beautiful walk to Downtown Santa Bárbara and State Street and easy drive to other sights. The home was warm and cozy and very comfortable for my family.

We had a wonderful stay at this little beach house in Santa Barbara. It was perfect for our three kids and my husband and I. The beds were very comfortable and we had everything we needed. We would definitely stay again!

Very clean and well equipted house in peaceful neighborhood within walking distance to state street ( shops, restaurants, etc..). Owners were very responsive to a small issue we were having with the heat and had it promptly repaired. Highly recommend.

This was a great property. We had everything we needed for our weekend visit. The house is located so close to lots of restaurants and pretty much anything you need. We walked everywhere. It was a great little family trip.

Walkable location in a cute, quiet, neighborhood. The house and back yard was lovely for our short stay. The host were communicative and checking in and out was a breeze. Would recommend this location for your Santa Barbara stay!

Pros: Close to downtown, quiet neighbors, driveway parking, many song birds, front porch Cons: Freeway noise; dirty: light switches, trim, doors, air vents, walls and woodwork (dinged, dirty, scuffed), dirty grill; porch and back yard furniture an afterthought, uncomfortable, dingy and in need of repair It was hard to feel comfortable in the house given the neglect. We won’t stay here again.

House was very cute and close to things, easy hub to enjoy Santa Barbara.

My wife and I are active seniors who were in town to spend Christmas with family. We loved this cottage, the location, and all the lovely little touches that made us feel welcome. We were able to easily prepare meals in house and enjoyed soaking up the sun while sitting on the front porch and in the spacious backyard. The hosts were available by text and responded quickly to our questions. This was a perfect home away from home!

Christine has a lovely place with a beautiful backyard patio. We were so comfortable that we had our Thanksgiving meal outside on the patio and enjoyed some beautiful California weather. Accommodations were plentiful, and house rules/directions were minimal and easy to follow. We will definitely be back!

Adorable home! Loved the private backyard and amount of parking available. Well stocked kitchen and comfortable living room space but the one bathroom being only accessible through the guest bedroom was not ideal.
