The cabin and location are great, within walking distance to downtown area. If you have a bad back I do not recommend until they replace beds. Downstairs bed was extremely uncomfortable and the upstairs bed was ultra firm which would have only made the pain worse.

We really enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was just the right size and had everything we needed. The location was also in a great location, clean and the check-in and check-out process was smooth.

We had a sad family funeral and needed a quiet night together afterwards. It was perfect.

We are a family of 4 with two young boys and we enjoyed our stay so much! This was a quick getaway while school is out and this cabin was perfect! The cabin is right in town but secluded away for privacy. Our boys loved the bears and loft room upstairs. You can walk to town but it is a little ways with two kids, so we opted to drive closer, it was easy. The hot tub was great. The cabin was very clean and tidy. I loved the attention to detail in the decor. Make sure you read the instructions when locating the cabin. Do not just plug it into gps because you will go to the wrong place. We didn’t do a fire however the seating needed some updating. We look forward to future stays at A Bearable cabin.

The cabin was just as advertised; cute, clean, close to town (walking distance). Had everything we needed for a nice stay. The wireless WiFi is spotty as they mention in the listing so expect possible issues connecting, however, the tv had no issues so all good for us at night. The town is lovely and the folks nice! Great German food, shopping, and nearby hiking.

The cabin was as advertised however the downstairs bed mattress was shot, causing us to both roll to the middle. The volume control on the main TV did not work nor did the house wifi ( but the check-in instructions did warn us if that). But a nice cabin otherwise.

Everything was exceptional and as advertised, except for the seating areas by the fire pit and patio table, definitely in need of a refresher, the inside of the cabin was beautiful and clean

Great location, close enough to stuff to have fun, but far enough to get away from the busy streets. We enjoyed the cabin and had a very pleasant long weekend. Endless things to do in Helen and lots of nature if you want to get out.

Our experience at the cabin was beyond my expectations. It was cozy comfortable, beautifully decorated, close to town but in a woodsy area, so peaceful. I would highly recommend this home away from home.

The cabin was clean and cozy, definitely met my expectations. Host was courteous and prompt with communication. Location was prime for everywhere we wanted to go, loved sitting on the porch in the morning listening to the birds. We would definitely recommend this cabin to friends and family, it will not disappoint!

We came to Helen for a little girl’s getaway. We enjoyed the property so much. It was so close to everything but we felt nestled away in the woods. We were close enough to other cabins to feel safe but apart enough to feel private. The hot tub was lovely and the kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. We will hopefully be back!

We really enjoyed this sweet cabin! The location was perfect and close to everything. The cabin was exactly as VRBO described. The Hot tub and fireplace were amazing as well as the fire pit. Bed was very comfy. Zero complaints from me and I will stay there again.

Our reservations were cancelled by a the rental company a few hours before we were to arrive. We were already almost in Helen.They did refund our money back to card but it takes 10 days.They didn’t try to accommodate us any other way and we were 3 hours away from home.

My sister and I come to Helen every year for my birthday. We usually stay at a hotel but we decided to rent a cabin this time. The hot tub, fireplace, full kitchen, and beautiful porch made for a beautiful relaxing getaway.

It was a very cozy, comfortable place to relax and enjoy some time away from home. We enjoyed the fireplace and its ease of operation, as well as the hot tub. The warm comfy robes were a nice touch. The location was great--very close to town, but quiet and secluded. The driveway leading to the property was a bit rough in a couple of spots. We loved staying here and would definitely recommend it.

The location of the cabin was perfect. We walked into Helen every evening for dinner and entertainment. The cabin was awesome. The setting felt like we were close to Mother Nature , surrounded by woods , but yet so conveniently close to town .

The pictures and description of this property are 100% accurate. We were close to the festivities and shops that are Helen GA but away from the hustle and bustle that was the weekend crowd. You could walk but we didn't because the road to get to the cabin is dark at night, narrow, gravel, downhill, and bumpy. It was $10 to park all day in Helen so we did that but you could also probably park just down the hill from the cabin and walk to town. It's not far from Dukes Creek Falls, Anna Ruby Falls, and Yonah Mountain Winery (among others). It was nice to go on a hike or explore Helen and come back and sit on the porch or in the hot tub and relax. The woodburning stove was wonderful the couple mornings it was chilly. It was just my husband and I for our 25th wedding anniversary so we didn't use the loft but did check it out, super cute. Cabin was cozy and perfect for our getaway. Shower was small. We've talked about making this an annual trip. We would stay here again.

The photos and reviews are accurate of this adorably perfect cabin! This was hands down one of our favorite family vacations, in large part because of the accommodations. We are a family of three so a good size for us, and our eight year old daughter was in love with the loft area and stuffed teddy bears up there! The home was small and cozy overall, but never felt cramped. We stopped at the Ingles in Cleveland on the way in and picked up food for our five night stay. The cabin provided all cooking supplies needed and has a grill outside. There were clear directions on how to use the air, fireplace, hot tub and fire pit. The air had been set a little too low before we arrived and by the first morning it was frozen and we were unable to adjust it. A quick call to the management company, and they stopped in while we were out, cleaned out the filter and adjusted the temp back to normal. The rest of our stay we had no issues! We sat on the porch a lot, saw some deer and even had a bear attempt to rummage the garbage at night (it was locked tight so it was only able to bump it around a bit, no harm done). The place was super clean, I would just suggest picking up some extra TP and paper towels if you are staying at least a few days. We played lots of Monopoly, Yahtzee and Uno, that were all provided there, and there are tons of books if you want to read something new during your stay. The cabin was perfectly situated where it feels like you are in the woods, but we were able to walk to lots of places just down the hill. And each cabin in the area has its own fire pit - we picked up a starter log at the store and were able to make smores. :) As far as the area, we loved the shopping in town, tubing, the Mountain Coaster (rode THREE times!), ate at Hofbrauhaus (awesome German food), The Troll Tavern (good people watching on the river), Bigg Daddy’s and takeout from A Slice of Helen. We cooked breakfast snd lunch in the cabin each day since it was so easy to come and go. Spent a lot of time in Unicoi Park - zip lining, kayaking, hiking - and Anna Ruby Falls (an easy walk with beautiful views!). We also enjoyed pretzels and beer at the Biergarten in the middle of Main Street Helen, ice cream and mini golf. For our daughter (and maybe me too), Babyland is just a short drive down the road in Cleveland. I can’t say enough good things about this cabin. Our daughter cried when we left and I may have shed a tear too! If you are considering it, book it!!

The place was amazing from the instant we pulled up. Love the creek and so did our kids and the other reviews are correct the pictures do not do it justice . The beds are so comfortable and my husband loved the pillows , he said they were inflatable !! The hooks on porch for towels and robs are perfect. Grill was perfect. Location was perfect to most of the falls we visited but I just wished we had more time !!! Tallulah gorge was breathtaking!!!! Anna ruby was beautiful. I just wish they had a washer and dryer is my only complaint, I guess you can tell due to the other 4 cabins in the area are the exact model of this one also. It was perfect though and just what we needed and the kids loved it. Perfect for a family of 4-5 The chair and sofa are awesome also

We took our 30-year anniversary trip to Helen and rented this cabin, mostly because of the porch, hot tub, and gas grill. The proximity to Helen couldn't be beat, and the cabin was easy to find. The cabin was well-stocked, nicely equipped, and very clean and cozy. I would definitely stay here again!

We loved the Bearable Log Cabin, so clean and beautiful. It felt like home from the time we turned the key to enter, but felt sad to leave. We will definitely visit again and hopefully get the same cabin. What to thank the owners and cleaner for having us. Hilliard & Doris Beasley.
