Look no further for a place to stay in Poitiers. This apartment is perfect. Would highly recommend for a stay in Poitiers.
Property is clean, comfortable, central to all amenities. Very charming and spacious with everything you need. Charlotte is an excellent host.

A charming property in a perfect location within minutes walk of the centre.Charlotte is an excellent host and on hand to welcome you and show you round.

lovely place full of charm. our host was so lovely and she prepared a email with full of explanations and recommandation for restaurant etc... well situated in Poitiers.

My family of four stayed at La Maison de la Liberte in October. The apartment is gorgeous and was perfect for our stay and adventures. It was very spacious, the beds were super comfortable and the location was perfect... just a few minutes walk to everything in central Poitiers. Charlotte, the host, was lovely and had a lot of maps, information and recommendations available for our visit.
We visited Futuroscope as well, and it was a short 10-15 minute drive to get there. Staying in the center of town gave us a great taste of the city. I would highly recommend La Maison de la Liberte!

Location was very good, not far from shops and restaurants and peaceful.
Kitchen facilities were a bit sparse with no instructions as to how the hot plate works

A beautifully restored historical building, with great attention to detail by the lovely owner Charlotte. Located centrally on a square, which was used for some sports practice on Saturday morning, but was otherwise totally peaceful! Our room gave a nod to a bygone era, in it’s beautiful decoration and styling, but was clean and uncluttered so felt like a home not a museum. The bed was very comfortable and all linen fresh and clean. We stayed three nights over a weekend and it was truly one of the loveliest spaces we have had. A cleverly screened kitchenette allowed us to cook some beautiful hand made pasta and sauce from the local Poitiers produce market, and enjoy some fresh salad and local wine ‘at home’ as a change from eating out!! Cannot recommend highly enough.

Everything was exactly as advertised, nothing fell short of expectations - rare nowadays. Lots of nice little touches around the apartment, you could see the personal touch and it felt good.
It is only a minor point: I would have liked better pillows

A fabulous stay at La Maison de Liberte, Charlotte is an excellent host and offers a masterclass in hospitality 👏🏽 every detail has been thought of in anticipation of guest comfort. The quality is excellent we stayed in the apartment at the front with huge windows and view over the square.
