The breakfast was generous and delicious with exceptional poached eggs. The room was basic, clean and comfortable. A good selection of options on the TV and the wi-fi was excellent.

It seemed quite expensive compared to similar offerings. The Wheatsheaf is located on a fairly busy road that I found noisy from quite early in the morning.

The location was good - easy to get to and plenty of free parking. The room came with breakfast - help yourself to cereal, juices and fruit and a cooked breakfast - various choices cooked to order. The room was comfortable and the Inn itself was a traditional style Pub which is always nice.

There was not really anything that we didn't like. The bathroom was not spacious but it was more than adequate.

Toilet did not flush easily- cistern slow to fill and often took numerous attempts. I find all hotels never leave enough milk to go with the tea/coffee tray.

There is a problem with parents from the school next door using the car park as though it belongs to the school itself. They were very rude and arrogant . We feel sorry for the owners of the inn and all the genuine guests as it would seem their complaints are ignored

Room was tired and needed painting. Very cramped one side of bed next to desk. Restricted height for 6’ man . Especially in bathroom which was cramped and very tired.

Popular inn but room quiet and comfortable. Staff friendly and efficient. Always plenty of hot water. Breakfasts generous and good quality.

Slightly unconventional in that rooms are not serviced by default but require a "service my room" notice to be hung on the door handle. Side plates at breakfast would be useful.
