We loved everything about the cottage. Clean, spacious, comfy beds, space for the dog to roam, big woods on the doorstep, picturesque and quiet setting. Fantastic

The location is beautiful, lovely for walking the dog, it's a relaxing base in this lovely cosy cottage which has everything you need for a perfect stay. On arrival we were pleased to find a boxed chocolate cake, milk & tea left for us which we gladly enjoyed. A car is needed to make the most of York & surrounding areas, but just a short journey away there is a park & ride bus stop at the Designer Outlet which is a 5 minute drive, a return ticket into York Town is only £2.70 which is a fraction of the costs to park in the town centre, there many interesting places to visit. We would truly recommend the Granary & we would definitely stay there in the future.

lovely decor- spacious and everything we needed
mattresses were too soft for us but we managed

Very spacious, clean and comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped. We loved the peaceful location.
Power shower with very hot water.
There is a wood next to the golf course which was perfect for walking the dog.
Short drive into the city.
The TV had only free view and the rural internet was not fast enough to download a film. Also we could not cast to the TV.
We should have been more prepared and downloaded some entertainment before we came.
The beds although very comfy were a little short. I'm 5'11" and my feet were on the footboard.

Really nice property. Very well equipped with all you needed.
Only thing was it was hard getting in and out of york as buses are few and far between . Taxis cost around 20 pound one way to york . Buses also found it hard to drop you off as it's a dark country road not lit up .
