From the moment we walked in the door, there was a sense of peace and calm that came over us. It is very apparent that a lot of thought went into every aspect of the house. There were so many little details that we loved. The sliding table on the upper deck, the lower seating area that was protected from the rain, to allow us to enjoy watching the rain on the water. We will definitely stay here again if we get the chance. Beth is a very responsive host, who made our stay flawless.

Besutiful and stay in the fall. Easy drive to Annapolis of you want to get away for the day. Host was great!

My husband and I were in the area for a retirement ceremony at the Naval Academy. This was a perfect place for the weekend.

Perfect location to explore Annapolis and Baltimore. We really enjoyed being right on the water and the backyard with fire pit. Such a unique cottage too, would definitely stay again

I was having trouble figuring out how to use the tv and host quickly called to assist me. Nice!

My husband and I chose to stay at this property for parents weekend at the Naval Academy. It’s about 25 minutes from the Academy and we’ll worth the drive. We were able to share meals and a space for our Midshipman to get away for the weekend. The cottage is nestled in the woods of a waterfront community. We were a bit busy and didn’t have as much time as I would have liked to enjoy the back patio overlooking the water. However, the cottage itself is warm and welcoming, nicely furnished, peaceful and easy to make yourself feel “at home” We really enjoyed our stay and each night it felt like a retreat from the day. I would be so happy to have the opportunity to stay again. The owner is very responsive to messages and allowed us to book an extra day at last minute.

A nice property inside, but scary ugly outside. Needs paint and power washing and some serious landscaping. Also, something really needs to be done to address the mosquitoes. Could only enjoy the back deck after multiple applications of Off repellent. I shared all of this with the owner. Respectfully, with a little tender loving care for the outside, it would be an ideal getaway.

What an amazing stay! We were at Seahorse Slope Cottage for a week. Beautifully done, with everything you need for a stress free vacation. It was centrally located, close to dining and grocery stores, but far enough away for quiet peace on the water. We explored Annapolis, St. Michaels, Baltimore and DC, ate plenty of crab cakes, & drank fantastic cocktails. (Try the Point Crab House! Try Cantler's! Go to the Iron Rooster for Breakfast! Eat a tomato from Chesapeake's eastern shore! Take a sail! Walk everywhere that you can! Enjoy!) Our host was AMAZING! Beth was extremely responsive & although we didn't need a single thing while we were there, we knew she would be quick to respond if we did. Thank you for such a wonderful stay. We would love to visit again!

Everything was wonderful.

Very nice cottage with a great view. We were able to relax and just enjoy. The property was very clean. Easy communication with host. Lots of little touches to the property that states "I'm glad you are here". It appears as though the host is thoroughly involved to be sure that you have a great stay, It was a great experience for sure. Thank you for a wonderful long weekend.

Very clean and quiet place.

A nice small cottage overlooking Stoney Creek. We enjoyed kayaking on the Creek and the nearby Baltimore-Annaplois Bike Trail. The cottage has two very nice decks; a fire pit on the lower deck; and lots of trees on the property.

We had an AMAZING stay at the cottage. We chose to stay here due to the waterfront view and the close proximity to Baltimore and Annapolis which was indeed perfect. We didn’t really care too much about what the inside of the house was like since we planned to be outside as much as possible, but once we got here we couldnt’t stop exclaiming about how nice it was inside and how many thoughtful touches it included. There was a new discovery every day. A perfect “thoughtful touch” example would be that they have an umbrella for the top deck/balcony and installed 3 different anchors to install it based on the way the morning sun moves so you’ll never experience sun in your eyes. Amazing! The inside was cozy and immaculately clean. It didn’t smell “lived in” and didn’t smell like cleaning chemicals either. Just perfect. It had everything you would need in the kitchen to cook, eat, and drink different types of beverages, and different types of phone chargers in the bedroom. We saw so many critters out on the deck. Blue jays, cardinals, red winged blackbird, heron, osprey, ducks… a couple unwanted critters like lizards and spiders but that’s part of the package of being surrounded by nature. They supply you with bug spray and a thermocell bug repeller that works really well. We had an opportunity to meet the owner of the house who was incredibly generous to us. We are so glad we chose to stay here and will definitely think of a reason to come back in the future.

What a lovely, cozy cottage with nice views. We had a wonderful stay. Communication was excellent with Beth. She was very accommodating. Also, all of the amenities that one needs are available - even marshmallows!

This cottage was such a perfect place to go for a little weekend getaway. I went on Valentines Weekend and there were mugs and cute glasses with chocolate set up for us! I would definitely come back again. The only thing is that there are no curtains covering the major glass doors/windows in the kitchen and dining area, would’ve liked to have some to help ensure privacy. Would definitely recommend!!!

The rental was a great size, clean and easy to access. We loved the area and enjoyed the different spots around the rental. The house was a great size and everything needed was provided. Would definitely rent again!

Surprised at the space at this waterfront cottage. Loved the views and scenery aw well as the quiet! Very clean and well maintained. We will be back!!

This was more of a mini vacay for the wife and I for her birthday. This place really exceeded our expectations. This place is great for couples I cant stress that enough. It was just what we needed. For those coming from out of town. The area has lots of stores and restaurants nearby.

A beautifully serene spot on the water - ideal for birdwatching and seeing the sun set. The boat dock is a great place to sit and have coffee in the mornings. The cottage is small but nice and well kept - the oven could probably do with a clean but everything else was pretty much spotless. There are very pleasant waterfront parks within close driving distance, and good supermarkets (Harris Teeter). Very much enjoyed our stay.

Cottage was everything that it was described as. It was very clean and the owners couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be back.

We spent three nights here and left this morning feeling as if we had relaxed for a month. The house is small, but never feels small. It is equipped with everything you might need and more. I brought my own kayak and had a couple wonderful paddles, although there was a canoe available. Sitting on the upper balcony at night is so peaceful. Even the adirondac chairs are built up higher so the railing doesn't block the view. Loved the electric water boiler and the French Press. Thanks for going beyond our expectations.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this lovely little cottage. It is exactly as the pictures that are posted for the listing. Clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the upper and lower deck at all times of the day. Twice we had evening fires in the outdoor fire ring. It was so nice to watch the fire while you sat by the water. There are neighbors but because of the trees, you truly don’t see them and it is very quiet. We were able to kayak from the property and we also biked the B&A trail and the BWI trail while staying at the cottage. Beth is a great host and very responsive to any questions you may have. I highly recommend staying here and exploring the area.
