Entertainment was nice, relaxing after travelling all day

Room and view was good looked freshly painted and new carpets all round the fresher look was a long time coming but worth it !

bed was very hard, and the radiators were very hot with no control for us to adjust !!

There was no cooked breakfast checking in was long we were not allocated a room even though it was booked we had to wait over an hour to get a room the evening meal was terrible I got a refund bk

The staff the food

Loved the location of the hotel and also the facilities available, from on site eating to a bar with entertainment in the evening. Wonderful.

My only complaint is the lack of plug sockets in my room (double single bed room) the only socket was near the writing desk with nothing bedside.

First room was filthy and had newspaper in the bin from 4 days before arrival. Worst hotel I have ever stayed in and that includes Afghanistan!

The whole experience and atmosphere we absolutely loved to bits.We stayed for four nights and I wasn't expecting much to be honest after reading and watching the reviews of this hotel but I found it to be very clean, bright, the staff were all friendly and helpful. No issues with the facilities. We ventured all over the grounds, was so exciting! Even sat on the balcony ,watching the world go by.

In all honesty, there was 2 tiny, minor issue. Which was the sheets and towels on the landings, on their trolleys. At least they were fresh though! Just kind of spoiled the feeling for me a tiny bit but like I said not major. Everything else we really loved. Will definitely stay there again. Also on one floor,on the other side of the hotel. There was a massive crack running down the hallway wall. The win was incredibly strong that evening and made the wall look as though it was breathing,was also quite breezy along there. Which was so worrying,especially for anyone who had a room facing there. I'm sure they will get it all repaired soon and learn that filler won't fix that.

Location was brilliant, the staff were very helpful. We had a sticking window. It was sorted within minutes. Clean rooms, lot's of facilities. Would stay again

There was entertainment billed every night, but as it was quiet, they cancelled it one night. Drinks selection was a bit limited

The food was hot and had a variety of choice to suit any dietary needs. Chef very helpful and any request was met. Servers' friendly and extremely professional. Location beautiful overlooks sea from the restaurant.Hotel close to town centre .

IN ROOMS FELT LIKE HAD SUM SORT OF DUST SPRAY AROUND WHICH IS IRRITATING AND UNCOMFOTABLE

The views from the outside terrace were stunning.

The hotel was very noisy, not because of noisy people. Every floorboard creaked in the rooms hallways, the floors above and at the side of our room so anybody walking outside our room could be heard miles away. Also the walls were so thin you could hear everything going on in the next room. They were just talking normally. Hope you like springs, because you will feel plenty of them in the beds. Impossible to get a good night's sleep because of the above issues. also if like entertainment we got one 30 minute slot and that was it so if you like going to bed for 10pm this is the place for you. An experience not to be repeated.

Breakfast was absolutely disgusting, was like plastic on a plate. 07:30 arrived downstairs. Eggs were like plastic, bacon was rock hard and none edible, French toast was like cardboard, Food would be better if it was cooked throughout breakfast period instead of by 0700 and left. Tried cereal as an alternative and it was very cheap tasting and milk was mediocre. Could not eat anything for breakfast and had to source breakfast from neighbouring businesses.

To be honest I didn't like anything about the hotel the staff were very rude & unhelpful, the rooms were freezing & dirty the doors didn't close properly so there was a constant breeze coming in ,the heating was never on we were freezing cold .For the 3 night's we stayed there the beds were never made we got no fresh towels even though we asked ,it walls a horrible experience ,one I will never repeat There was four rooms in total we booked we travelled over from Ireland with my 89 year old mother because she has been to the hotel over the years & use to really enjoy it. As this will probably be her last holiday it was totally ruined I'm am absolutely so upset with the whole experience. I brought her down for her dinner last night as she's in a wheelchair & the food was muck you wouldn't give it to a dog. Everything was freezing & when I said this to a so called manager as I was afraid she might get food poison ,his reply was what do you want me to do .The entertainment was diabolical you couldn't even call it entertainment you would have more fun in a nursing home & to top it all there was no minerals in the bar. Really at this stage you should shut it down it's a bloody disgrace to charge people money for the state of the hotel. I work for a radio station here in Ireland & I'm telling you now I will be warning people to never ever book that kip .As I said we brought my mother over from Ireland & it was a total disaster Thanks for that & I just am so happy she didn't get poisoned by that muck you serve to people You need to retrain your staff on customer service they know nothing or just have no interest in helping guest's with general information about parking & attractions I have never ever in all the hotels I have stayed in experienced anything like this. As I said I work In media & I will most definitely will warn people to stay away.
