The staff were all super friendly and polite and made the stay very enjoyable. They all made a special effort to make sure everyone had fun either with the kayaking, the evening cooking course, evening entertainment ect. The ship itself was very clean and the rooms were comfortable with beautiful views of the bay.

The food options were very limited for non seafood eaters. On the first lunch more than half of the buffet wasn’t available for one of the guests which made food options limited and pretty uninspiring. The dinner was also a set menu with only one option which was very restricting, with some odd flavour combinations (sea bass with banana purée)

We heard many bad opinions about Halong bay, but this ship was amazing!!! From best attractions, to best staff and amazing restaurant. I hope I will come back someday

There was a kayak and water slide activity, hence we can swim into the lagoon ! We took the family suite and there was a stunning view from the bathtub. Amazing staff, would go back in a heartbeat.

2 days 1 night is a little bit short. With all activities the time passes super quickly!

Everything was wonderful, exceeded our expectations. We had an amazing time, wish we had three nights instead of two. Couldn't fault the boat, facilities and the staff - so much fun.

The staff and choice of facilities were great. Swimming pool, bar, karaoke room, kayaking was all really well organised.

This is the cruise to book! We enjoyed ourselves immensely- big thanks to Helen, Chris, Olivia, Nam and Tom for making the 2 night cruise so comfortable and enjoyable. Beautifully appointed rooms, lots of fabulous spaces on the boat, great happy hour and fun activities! The cruise is relaxing, information plentiful & check in seamless.

At times the food was a little small or servings at the buffet ran out before everyone got some - most of it delicious, just felt a bit, quick, run to get some at each meal time.

Modern facilities, great sound proofing, service staff and online support were impecable.

It has been 5 weeks since our 3 day 2 night stay with Capella. My child still hasn’t stopped telling me how badly she wants to go back. I don’t blame her, It was truly an amazing experience. I picked Capella after reviewing 30 something comparable ships so I went in with high expectations. Capella completely exceeded it. Everything is so clean and well kept. The boat has the water slide that’s very unique. People from other cruise ship actually swam/kayak over and asked whether they can use it. True story LOL. what really made our trip was the crew. They are so attentive but not overbearing. They remember the names of all members of our party and all the little details we talked about. We felt like we bonded over a short period of time and there was this family vibe. It was really hard to say good bye. Special shout-out to Chris the Manager and May the guide for the excursion. They both went above and beyond. We hope to return one day soon!

Everything! The boat was beautiful, the food was the best we had in Vietnam, the views were incredible, the kayak trip was great because you could go far from the boat. Wish I could have stayed for longer and will definitely return! They cater for vegans as well, they made vegan versions of every meal for my partner which was really appreciated ! 😊

The crew were amazing in particular Chris, Gin and Olivia, Nam and Huong.

The dinner menu was a bit strange at times.

Staff were extremely friendly and attentive. Requests were met with openness and ease. The decor was lovely, clean, big rooms and great facilities for a family with kids. We had the Sky Family suite which was perfect for a family of 4.

We didn’t realise until the last day there is a children’s option for the dinner. Perhaps the staff could have recommended this for our 8year old.

Everything with Capella went smoothly. They picked us up on time from our hotel in Hanoi in a private very comfortable van. You arrive at the port and take a short 20 minute transfer to the main ship that is docked further out. The boat is one of the nicest we saw. They have one of the only pools we saw and the ONLY cruise with a water slide, which kids and adults loved. The beds were comfortable and each room has a private balcony. The staff was hands down the best part. They really made an effort to get to know the passengers and anticipate our needs. There was a lot of food. you could never go hungry here. There is also a happy hour from 5-6 which serves great cocktails and mock tails. Special thanks to Chris, May, Thanh and Nam for taking great care of us.

the slide, the pool, the kayaks, the springroll competition. the rooms were luxerious, and the bicycle tour on the 2 night cruise was very scenic, we staying on the 3rd floor and the showers and baths are better than floor 1. they brought a birthday cake for our celebration, but we did ask them to, which they should probably ask ahead of time.

lots of garbage in the water (although not properties fault), the night activities are available, but not anyone there readily available to help. not good WiFi signal, they do warn you 10%, but it’s probably a bit less. great initiative and sustainable to use reusable water bottles, but not very hygienic and clean. not much safety guide. everything is very scheduled and no flexible times, and wake up very early to do things.

Perfect relaxing cruise for couples, Staff were amazing, food was incredible, the activities were all very fun and the tour to Cat Ba Island by May our tour guide was very good and informative. We also used the spa services and they were also very good. The boat itself is new and all the facilities are lovely.

The rooms were ok for a boat. The boarding and unboarding were efficient and quick.

OVER PRICED. The Halong Bay is dirty, the waters had a funny smell, I could not really enjoy the kayaking and the water slide. The tour to the cave was underwhelming just skip it. The was only clean for the looks. The bath was not clean and the window was not clean as well. The upper deck was not maintained well enough. Just go for the cheaper one.
