This was an amazing hotel in a beautiful location. We were here for a couple of days at the start of a longer European journey. This was the first stop after getting off a morning flight to Geneva. After we arrived by train from the airport, we arrived at the hotel early, so they took our bags and gave us some ideas on what to do that day. Our top things were the vineyard hike and the castle in Montreax. We received our complimentary pass and off for the day. When we returned later that evening, we received our keys and headed to the room. And wow!!! We had a lovely room with a balcony and an amazing view of Lac Lemon with mountains in the background. This was everything my girlfriend wanted for the experience. The slippers and robe were a great touch as well as the mini-bar being free with some orange juice, soda, water and Heineken. There is a nice outdoor pool and my girlfriend lover the sauna. The restaurant was excellent and we enjoyed a 3 hour dinner in style. Difficult to access internet - need a better solution.

Lausanne is not a big town and the hotel is in the best part of the town. Directly on the lake and just a few steps away from the free tram that takes you up the hill to the "old town", maybe a 5 minute trip. The hotel is definitely a 4 or 5 star accommodation. The building is unique and historical but renovated to feel like a new facility. The rooms and bathrooms are comfortable for European standards. Breakfast was great, we did not have dinner at the hotel. Stayed in 2 rooms, 2 nights with day trips to Bern and Luzerne. My wife did have a very minor exchange 1 morning when asking the reception where the closest church was and the woman responded that they can not discuss religion. So that was a bit petty and weird.

Amazing.

The hotel is elegant and perfectly maintained. Location is perfect for exploring the lake shore, visiting the Olympic Museum or riding the tram up the hill to the train station or to the Old Town. A unique hotel with a welcoming staff, not to be missed.

The property is lovely, however the upgraded room was not. It was small, crowded and poorly lighted. Only 2 small led lights in bath, one over tub and one over sink. Putting on makeup was almost impossible.Shower was in tub with very high sides. Husband 6’2” and had a hard time getting out of tub. Duvet was folded very weirdly and bed was hard and uncomfortable. We were charged extra 50 CHF in order to check in early, not worth 1 CHF.

Quite disappointed in the attitude of staff. This is an expensive hotel. We had spent 5 hours in Switzerland when we found out our house was flooded and had to return as my elderly mother was there alone. Understand that the hotel was non refundable but we asked if they would provide breakfast in the morning so we could quickly get to the airport and they refused. Would a coffee and croissant have hurt them that much when they had a room they could resell for 2 nights or at the least not turnover. They might have been right in terms of the contract but did they do the right thing? Absolutley not.

Really nice hotel, good quality of food, service very efficiently , personal súper profesional. Have stay before c will continue staying. Beautiful view infront of the lake.. for romantic or family stay.

The hotel was incredible. If you are visiting Switzerland and want to be right on lake Geneva, this is a great location. The city metro is directly across the street and the hotel provides a transport card. Highly recommend.

Beautiful well kept property. Third visit and will return!

I really enjoyed my stay here. It was convenient to explore many area around Lake Geneva. The room was beautiful as were all the common space in the hotel. The staff was outstanding. The breakfast option was too expensive so we grabbed breakfast offsite. My only issue with the room was the shower. We couldn’t figure out how to avoid getting water all over the floor.

Our stay in this historic hotel was wonderful. We booked a superior room with a lake view since we were only staying one night and decided to splurge! We arrived at the hotel before check in time and were delighted to get upgraded to a larger room with the lake view. This was the largest and nicest room that I’ve stayed in anywhere. The room had separate bathroom (toilet and sink) and bathing room (large bath tub / separate shower stall). Bathrobes were provided along with plenty of towels. All the fixtures were high quality and in perfect condition. All beverages in the fridge were complimentary. The beds were very comfortable. A word about Lausanne, the last city that I selected for our Swiss vacation. It is a beautiful small city with a spectacular cathedral. I greatly enjoyed experiencing the city’s culture and diversity. I hope to return to Lausanne and would definitely stay at Chateau D’Ouchy again.

Overall we really enjoyed our stay, however the design of the shower is terrible. It is impossible to take a shower without water getting everywhere in the entire bathroom. No curtain, one quasi glass panel that did next to nothing to stop the slash of water exiting the shower. That is literally the only complaint we have, otherwise it is a lovely place. The staff was wonderful, our massages were great. And we love the area.

First of all we were upgraded to a great room the only night we intended to stay in Lausanne and loved hotel and area so much we booked the same room for 2 more nights! Wonderful experience for us on the back end of a 3-week trip to Europe.

Great waterside locat

The property's historical significance was evident, creating a captivating atmosphere. The staff members were friendly and accommodating, ensuring that our experience was delightful. We appreciated their assistance in finding a great restaurant and their insightful recommendations for exploring the city. They also provided us with a complimentary travel ticket for the town, making our sightseeing very nice and easy.

Staying here was one of our best experiences in Switzerland. Ouchy is a quiet, cultural, historic hub and staying in the Chateau is the perfect place to enjoy it. Lake views and a beautiful peaceful property plus helpful staff made this a wonderful visit. Would definitely stay again… this time for longer!

Beautiful and centric location. First class facility and comfort. 99% of staff were very professional. * Only mishap was when we tried to get a drink from the bar after 11pm. Had to beg to serve us, which in the end they did (albeit reluctantly)

Best location in Lausanne, hotel is very clean. The size of the rooms is oke. In my opinion the decoration of the rooms is too simple/basic regarding the outside appearance of the hotel.

Great historic property that is very modern on the inside with apparent recent renovation. Large room and bathroom for Europe. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful with all needs and made great sightseeing and dining arrangements / recommendations. Well worth the stay!

We had a very pleasant stay at Château d'Ouchy. Our room was beautiful with amazing views of the lake and mountains. Conveniently located close to train station and boat transportation. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Very clean. Food at the restaurant was amazing and drinks at the bar were delicious. Nice atmosphere, design and architecture! We were very pleased with our stay and would definitely recommend to friends and family!
