Airport hotels are usually given a “pass” for many fails due to the convenience of distance. I must say that our experience was quite good.
Swimming pool would have been great.

Room is very dark. No overhead light no desk lamp. Toilet seat loose. Looks tired.

Check in was fine. Woman was cordial and informative. Room was bare bones, quite surprising for a Marriott. Didn’t have a refrigerator and I have medication that needs to be refrigerated. Asked at the front desk and the woman rolled her eyes and carried on about no guarantee and you should let them know in advance.
Went to the restaurant, both waiters were very friendly and helpful. Very limited menu - only 4 dinner entrees, a few sandwiches, appetizers and salad. Really surprised about that. Food was ok, not bad, not great.
Hotel looked clean that was a plus. But really bare bones, maybe that’s because they probably only get travelers. Just stayed there because we had a flight out the next morning. That part was convenient and lots of options of shuttles to Newark Airport (every 15 minutes all day and night). Overall OK but not the typical Marriott property.

We were stuck in NYC due to the IT tech airline outage in July. We had to transfer here to fly home from JFK airport. The room was very expensive and somewhat dated. The bathroom was clean.

Absolutely Perfect - from check-in, to a beautiful room, bathroom(where everything works), a quick wonderful meal and finally checking-out and taking the free & friendly shuttle to Airport.

It was as expected. Pretty pricey for what you get but the restaurant was good, staff was good and the place was clean. The shuttle ran on time and took us right to the terminal. All was well. All you can really ask for from an airport hotel. It was also quieter than i expected.

It was late, we just wanted a clean hotel room for one night. The hotel is decent but the room smelled like they had allowed a wet dog to stay in the room. There was a stench in the room. The rooms are in need of a serious update. Bathroom is tiny.

We missed our connection to an overseas flight due to a mechanical issue on the connector. We had to stay three days before we were able to get a flight. They were very accommodating. It was nice to have a five minute shuttle back and forth to the airport trying to get our luggage back.

For the price. It was not worth the extra cost. For $500 a night, it should be head and shoulders above the hotels around it, and it is not. It should be connected to the airport for that price and it is not. You have to take the air train out to P4 to catch a shuttle to get there. You can see it from the airport but it is really hard to get to.

Quiet and clean, good size rooms and right by the airport. With a small restaurant on site where you can order breakfast without paying the standard high fee. Also a small convenience shop with sandwiches and drinks if you arrive very late on a flight.

Overpriced suite, I paid 700 plus dollars for a suite (which was just a small small room). No breakfast. I ordered room service and got meal delivered in a paper bag!

Highly rated with a nice gym so we spent the extra money. The room was clean but small with nothing above average to support the cost. Gym was only part worth bragging about.

Pre flight overnight stay. Have stayed here before and it was great, the convenience of being on airport premises is ideal. The room was nice but on this occasion the proximity to the ice machine (in an echo ridden tiled alcove) was not ideal. Lots of people trying to fill buckets until about 1am. Right at 5am it sounded like the machine started running to fill the hopper again. So as much as I wanted great sleep I just couldn't get it.
Hotel staff were very helpful on this trip as my travel plans changed hours before I was due to check in and I needed parking. Staff turned my reservation into a stay and park and saved me money and headaches.
