We had a great experience! We were able to check in way before the normal time and there was a very convenient airport shuttle in the early morning for us upon arrival and departure. Would stay here again.

I am writing to urgently address several serious issues we encountered during our recent stay at your hotel.
Firstly, our room was consistently damp, creating an uncomfortable environment throughout our visit. This significantly impacted our experience. Additionally, we were charged for a purchase we did not make, which adds to our frustration.
When we sought assistance from the hotel staff regarding this charge, the manager was unhelpful and dismissive of our concerns. This lack of support only compounded our dissatisfaction.

I only stayed here for one night as every hotel in downtown detroit was pretty much booked on August 17th.
I checked in pretty late 3 am. Check in staff said my reservation was already cancelled but she would renew my reservations no issue. Hold fee of $20 USD was help on creditcard and water was offered.

we had one king bed and a pull out bed. While the king bed was nice the pull out bed was disgusting. The mattress had no cover so we could see the stains that had incurred on the mattress, and it definitely wasn't pretty. There was brown stains all over which for me is a clear sign that this mattress needs to be replaced.
Staff was nice and gave us sheet covers and blankets but honestly no one would want to sleep on that. We had to put the couch cushion on top and add other things to make it work. Room is tight for 3 people and the bathroom isn't anything fancy.
Staff however was very friendly.
We did not explore pool or do breakfast so can't speak on that

I'm going to try to keep this short. The first room we were given had ants crawling around in it so we went downstairs and asked to be moved to another room. we were then given an even smaller room than the room we had first received. The room was very basic at best and the bathroom had visible signs of dirt and and the room also had visible signs of uncleanliness. and the even bigger shocker was that the Marriott hotel did not have any refrigerators or microwaves available in the rooms. Also there were no complimentary breakfast items available for the guests. My opinion is that they try to nickel and dime you for everything at this hotel, so no I would not recommend that anyone stay here when there are way better options out there for you and more value for the money that you are going to spend.

We were in Michigan for a 60th wedding anniversary. We stay at the Detroit Metro Marriott Hotel.The staff was friendly, extremely clean facility and rooms. The food and cocktails were fantastic. We would stay here again.

I reserved room for two nights, 6-7 and 6-8 and paid for the rooms at the time of booking. We left during the morning on the 7th to participate in a charity event. We returned that evening, and the key would not allow us to enter the room. I went to the front desk and was advised that I would have to check in again, into the same room, 260. And I would have to provide another $20.00 fee for incidentals. I checked in again and returned to the room.
The room had not been cleaned.

The bathroom needs to be updated. The toilet and counters are very low to the floor. The ice machine on our floor was missing and the one in the restaurant was broken. Finally got ice at the bar. There was only a $20 breakfast buffet available in the morning, the regular menu was not available.

Great stay. Restaurant was a tiny but slow, but when you're getting on a plane the next day to start your vacation, that seems to bother you less than it would normally! The shuttle drivers drive as if they are practicing for a coming Grand Prix race (in our experience this is ALL airport shuttle drivers, not unique here!) Desk staff was extremely friendly and helpful!

I reserved a room with 2 beds. Upon check in we were given a handicapped room to have 2 beds. That was ok until we got to room and saw that the shower sprayer only was 2 feet tall. High enough for someone sitting on a shower bench, or in a wheel chair. When I requested another room I was told " we have a large hockey team here and have no other rooms".
So I thought we were stuck with this room.
At 10 p.m. I went to take a bath, and after running hot water for ten minutes I had none. I called front desk, who called engineering. They arrived at 11:30 p.m. They could not fix the problem and said they would inform the front desk that we should be moved to a new room. The next morning I went to front desk and they had a different room for us. Now you cant tell me that room wasn't available when we checked in. Poor customer service!

What hotel charges parking fee to its guests? Well this hotel does, and my room's mattress for the pull out couch mattress would disgustingly brown, would not see a homeless person sleeping on that

It was short. The proximity to airplane parking along with the Park and Stay option was what wee were looking for.
