Rude reception, room stank, not cleaned, air condition too loud, beds uncomfortable, noisy guest next door all night

The staff I interacted with were friendly and helpful. But weirdly there was no one at the reception desk when I returned in the evening after dinner and when I departed at 6:30am.

Front desk help was great.

Front desk staff did not seem to be very knowledgeable but they were helpful with my requests. There is an incidental deposit at this hotel so make sure you’re ready for that. The shuttle crew needs 5⭐️s as they were amazing, friendly, and efficient. The only disparaging remark I would make is that the hotels pantry is ridiculously overpriced and they can get away with it as the closest convenience store is an inconvenient distance away.

Nice, clean, quiet hotel. They say they have laundry, but it is next door in their sister hotel, so it is not very convenient. The pool is great! Breakfast was amazing!

Had to wait 45 min for shuttle to hotel. Driver shift change and 1st driver didnt tell new driver i was waiting.

First time in Detroit. I appreciated the shuttle to and from the airport. Staff was friendly and helpful. Stay was quiet and comfortable! Nice breakfast offerings as well!

I do not like being presumed to be someone who will damage your property and being FORCED to give you $100 per room for a "damage deposit." That is a great way for your company to make MILLIONS on the interest for this charge. You already had my credit card if damage occurred. You FORCED me to loan you $100 per room at 0% interest. I will SERIOUSLY think about that when I have future lodging needs.

I could not make changes to my room due to making the purchase with a 3rd party site (Expedia). I won’t be using them again. I will book in person next time. On my check out day @12pm I was about 30 minutes late. It was my fault I was running late, however I have a large family and moving around with them was difficult. However I get back to my room at approx 1230 and all my belongings are stuffed in bags and placed in the hallway! All my personal belongings are out in the open! The hotel staff wasted no time stuffing my belongings into bags and placing them outside the room. Maybe call me? Maybe charge me the deposit which should cover the room for at least an extra day, but instead my belongings were packed and left unsecured. If that’s the best way to handle things then I won’t do business with this hotel chain again. I know I was late but that does not mean immediately dispose of my belongings some of which were priceless to my family. Things could have went really bad but thankfully they did not. There are better ways to handle situations like this and imo they chose the worse way.

We loved our stay here. The rooms were much more spacious than others; the staff really kind, the breakfast fine.

Great staff, convenient shuttle, pretty standard breakfast fare, room overall was nice. Shower had mold and a dripping shower head.

The building is just a few feet under airplane landing route and the noise from an airplane landing engine sound is very loud that you can hear it inside the room and it was difficult to sleep
