Good Hotel but staff not so friendly. Food was great. Convenient to beach.

Loved staying here and would return for another stay.

My 5th visit for short stays to Diplomatic and I love it. I live in Moraira but like to take visitors to spend a few days in Benidorm most years. I always recommend the Diplomatic to family and friends and nobody has ever been dissapointed. All enjoy Benidorm Palace which forms part of our stay.

Used my credit card for the first time ever in this hotel within 3 days my card company called to say that my card had been cloned and my card maxed out the only place this could have come from is this hotel as I have never used this card before using it in hotel servigroup

Check-in procedure very easy with very friendly and helpful staff.Upon going into the room however, there was a poor view from the balcony overlooking other apartments so privacy was somewhat limited.Due to this we approached the reception staff and they got us moved to a pool view, albeit on the next day due to having no available room. This caused us no problems and we moved the next morning. Try to get a pool side room it is a much better open view.The food was good and varied (we were on full board) when we ate at the hotel.*for breakfast you could even have champagne(Cava)*Bar prices reasonable but entertainment was for the older set and predominantly for the majority (85%) Spanish guests.We went to Old Town every night and it is only 15 mins walk away. There is more than one side to Benidorm so if you haven't been don't be put off.On the downside, the pool area end up in the shade for a while so you have to move a couple of times to keep the sun. The bigger pool is freezing but we are Brits and we can stand it !!

Experia must take very serious steps to take charge of the proper reception and hospitality of its customers or members by many hotels they work with , in particular in Europe and in Spain . Confirmation of hotel bookings made via Expedia are often disputed when they are not simply ignored and denied. Information and details of the bookings especially in Spain are not properly checked and passed to hotels, I understand , and always lead to major disputes on the bookings made, so therefore on the hotels prices , and added charges not disclosed or agreed upon on when making the booking and paying for it at the source. I had again a horrible experience in Spain this time again when I booked a room in Benidorm via Expedia, recently. My request were very specific: I booked a room for 2 Adults and one 17 years old + boy. I paid for it and a confirmation of the booking was emailed to me, and to the hotel concerned , I understand. The Hotel, a 4 star hotel (Hotel Servi Group Diplomatic) had not apparently received any of those details or confirmation. When we arrived at the hotel on the 01st June 2014, we were told, they were no booking for 3 people or 3 beds, and in any case the hotel does not have any triple room or large rooms to host 3 single beds at once....the worst part is it was a Sunday and most the Managerial Staff were off. The lady at the reception reluctantly gave us a room on the second floor (Room 202) with 2 single beds only, and with hardly any space to add any extr

The superior room was well worth the extra money. It had space and a large balcony. The food was excellent and we had no complaints during our three night stay. The location is ideal for the beach and a loud or quiet night out.

An excellent hotel. Friendly and helpful staff apart from the receptionist on arrival.She was very abrupt an unhelpful. I found her attitude to be rude and unnecessary. Considering she was the first member of staff we spoke to her attitude was wrong from the outset. All the other staff were very helpful and courteous. Wecwould definitely stay there again.

Great Hotel, good position. Jesus is the mojita King and can vot do too much to help. All staff friendly, food is to a good standard and was included in the price we paid, overall bery good.

Great hotel in great central location. Only negative was the pillows & beds seemed a little hard & uncomrotable

Staff always had a smile on their faces. Nothing was too much trouble. They really made an effort for Christmas and decorated the hotel beautifully. The bar prices were very reasonable so encouraged people to stay in the hotel and drink rather than venturing out because they felt ripped off.

I found this hotel to be consistently good right across the board. The location is particularly good, with the hotel being just a 5 minute walk to the beach and to the old part of town (its little lanes are worth exploring). The food is varied and of a good quality, the rooms are comfortable, and there is entertainment on most nights. The only real negative is that the pools are on the small side - although the hotel is close enough to the beach for this to not be a big problem. This hotel attracts a rather more Spanish clientele than some of the other hotels in the area.
