Amazing stay at the Gaylord with our family!! We will be back!!

This is an amazing place with a wonderful water park. My only suggestion is that it would be nice to have some cheaper food options, maybe add a couple of fast food restaurants

Great property, good food. Light was blown in room, room table was not cleaned, and linen was too thin but overall it was good bug could’ve been better for price.

Best part of our stay were the dinning options, we didn’t have to leave the property at all.

At the check in the employee was wearing a mask and talked really low could not understand him, he seemed rushed and I had many questions since this was our first time. Also the room balcony was clean but the edges between rooms there was trash like used a tips. How come housekeeping hasn’t seen it. River walk was not open on Sunday for lunch really?? At the water park they need more staff walking around specially on the lazy river. We had fun and I know this is a resort but they charge you for breathing. Room service food was very poor and expensive.

Being awoke from construction sounds at 7:00 AM was not great. I understand that work needs to be done but 7:00 AM seems a little early. I took my wife here for a spa day and break from the kids. 7:00 AM wake up was not what we had planned.

The hotel is unique and the staff seems happy and friendly. This is rare with hotels and it helps make the stay much more enjoyable.

We did tell the the lady when we checked out how our room was dirty . The sink was broke and did not work. 2 family members got so sick from eating at the Italian restaurant zepolle that we had to cut our stay short . My youngest woke up with bites all over her body . We now have 2 doctor visits we were not expecting to do. The morning staff at the water park who take your orders were 1 start. We had the girl tell us she was to busy to take our order because she had 10 tickets to put in, then when her shift was going to end she asked us if we wanted to keep our check open or close it out we said open because we planned to stay longer she came up to us and said hey I was suppose to go home 40 mins ago can you pay for your ticket . This is at 2:30-3:00pm. We felt like we were being told we couldn’t order anymore or that we’re Inconveniencing her by wanting to have our ticket open . The hotel needs updates we were on the 9th floor . It is so out dated . We never get out or vacation and for such a special time to be ruined . A lot at the Marriott over the years, we stay every year in Flagstaff at a Marriott hotel, and so for Gaylord to be a part of the Marriott we just expected so much more Extremely disappointing the way the room was and how dirty it was and just how you felt like you needed to go home and shower because it just felt disgusting and didn’t smell clean. It smelled like nobody had stayed in that room for years like it had been locked up.

SATISFACTORY

Stayed in two rooms for my daughter’s birthday. Loved the waterpark, plenty of things to do for the kids to keep everyone occupied all day and night. Loved our stay!

I love having the opportunity to come to the Gaylord with friends. I was very fortunate to be able to check-in early due to my conference. However when I got to my room, the bathroom was not clean🙄. It was worse to have an elevator not working during my stay. I think the sad part we didn’t get to enjoy the water park due to the rain. Other than that, I really enjoyed the spa and plan to return.

The Gaylord is absolutely beautiful!!!!

The bathroom’s toilet was messed up, it took way too long to flush. Checking out was extremely long. Overall I rate my experience a 9/10 due to those two things.

Gorgeous hotel no doubt. But without amenities like water or parking it was way too expensive for what you get. Way too few places for coffee. Having to wait in a LONG line for morning coffee was insane when paying almost $400 for the night. Parking WAY too expensive.

Our experience was amazing!! Check in was seemless, quick and our room was ready. The whole place was beautiful and clean. Lots of places to eat. We enjoyed our stay!

My son and I stayed for one night for the Fourth of July. We really enjoyed all the lights and decor inside the facility as well as room service. I disliked the fact I got charged twice for the room. I had paid for the room in full two weeks prior to our stay… I had to put a card on file during our stay. As we checked out the manager, Mark checked us out handing me a receipt for a little over $700 like it was nothing … I asked him why I was being charged again and why I was being charge for Paradise Springs when it is supposed to be included for people staying the night at the resort, he quickly removed the charges to the water park, hands me another receipt and it was for a little over $500… I logged onto my bank account, and sure enough I have been charged $561 despite already paying for this room weeks prior… he fumbled around nervously and told me he had “voided” the charge. I called my bank as I was walking back to the car, luggage in hand, juggling the phone and keeping up with my son…. Needless to say the bank had to handle this. The staff at Gaylord need to slow down before swiping a card and taking the next customer in line . Other than that everything was fabulous.

The Gaylord is a great family destination. The water park is not the greatest, but still fun. I have to not Grapevine has a nice small town feel downtown. Lots of nice shops and restaurants.

First of all, the hotel was very clean and well kept The main issue is that what is supposed to be one of the best hotels from a service standpoint, it was terrible. From the moment we pulled up, they were very unprepared for the July 4th week. There were no luggage carts available. The hotel only had 2 people running the desk when everyone was trying to check in and no one would help then. When it came to charges on my card, there was no transparency. The front desk could not explain what the charges were for so they just called it a card check. We went to guests services to ask about the July 4th festivities at the hotel and the staff had ZERO clue about what was going on. Told us that there would be food trucks, which was a very lack luster set up with hot dogs and churros. Your guests are spending high dollar for the experience, do better at training the staff and being prepared.
