Front desk staff was rude. Overcharged. The room smelled terrible. No military discount. Sketchy people standing around outside. I will never return not recommend

Smelled horrible. Very loud from we aren’t even sure what. Chemical smell in room that was terrible.

They never mentioned there was a pet fee and threatened us with a $300. fine for not reporting the pet, even though they described themselves as a pet friendly motel. This is the second time we have had this sort of issue with an Indian managed motel. Both times they tacked on extra fees not previously mentioned and were both belligerent and threatening.

Check in was easy and the gentleman was very friendly. Room smelled heavily of smoke though and it was a non-smoking room

clean and neat. Had a small tv problem but it was taken care of immediately. Priced well..i would stay there again. Thank you...also it was my first motel stay by myself since my husband passed away a year ago. I felt safe and comfortable..very important to me as I was nervous.

It was never cool in the room with the air on it was still humid.

If you want a smoker friendly place..stuck in the 60's in every respect and the cheapest of cheap everything this is the place. $156 of pure pleasure. The "breakfast"...really?

Lady came to tell us this place was iffy

A simple room, adequate. All the doors stuck and were difficult to open. Bring your own toiletries. Breakfast minimal. Nearby pizza and convenience store which helped for dinner. Staff on duty 24 hours and attentive. Clean and bed very comfortable.

Clean and had everything we needed in the room.

My room was very clean and quiet.I had a great night sleep.

The staff was very nice. The bathroom was falling apart in spots. The free breakfast consisted of dry cereal, coffee or tea, orange juice and bread, muffin or English muffin. Pretty slim!

I liked that there is a thai restaurant in the building and ease of checking in/out. I did not like the heavy perfuming of the fresh room, i am allergic.

our room had a very strong smell of pine sol. my spuse and I are very sensitive to strong smells like this and we had to leave.

Poor customer service. First room smells like smoke second room smelled like covered ip smoke. No breakfast. No wifi given to us.

I would advise everyone to stay away from this place. My event was cancelled due to a snow storm and they refused to change my reservation to another date. I knew I could not get a refund and I didn't request one. All I wanted was for them to change my stay to a different day, and they refused. They were also very rude on the phone. I travel often and will never book here again. They got my money and I got nothing in return.

The place was disgusting, it reaked of pot and filthy. Bedding had holes in in like burn marks and the room was gross!

The hotel is in decrepit condition, very run down and in need of serious upgrade. Currently best functions as a flophouse for addicts of all sorts. Walls are paper-thin, could hear every cough and sneeze at night. Rooms are run down and very small. Beds have seen better days. Room was non-smoking but reeked of smoke. Had to leave window open during the night. Bathroom leaves no room to move in. Only place to hang clothes is above the refrigerator. Chambermaid just barged in as we were leaving. Didn't make our beds, but certainly took her tip. Only ice machine was across the road in main office. Using the coffee machine would have been a gamble. Even the cups were used, gross and nasty. Best advice is to find a different hotel. Would never stay here again or advise anyone else to do such.

The staff at Budget Host in Waterville, Maine was very friendly and accommodating; that goes for both the younger gentleman working at the desk in the evening and the older gentleman (the owner?) working at the desk in the morning. However, the maintenance staff really needs to do a deep cleaning: the back of the door into my guest room was very dirty; the light switch next to that door was very dirty; the outlet and light switch next to the sink were very dirty, as was the cord from the hair dryer to the outlet. It wouldn't take that long to give those things a thorough cleaning, which they desperately need. The bed and bedding were very clean and comfortable. I must also add that the enormous BUDGET HOST sign near the street is awful, and it has been like that for many years. I suggest that it be repaired or taken down. It doesn't say good things about the management and ownership that that sign has been neglected for that long.

The property is basic but it was very clean with a frig and micro. Breakfast was stopped due to Covid and has not been reinstated.

OVERWHELMING deodorant odor masking heavy tobacco smoke residue in room. Opening the window didn't help. Disgusting!!!

Booked here for a nearby dog event, and called in advance to confirm the dog friendly room. On arrival they hit me with a $100 dog charge which negated the savings for the room. Motel is pretty run down and crappy, which I'll put up with for the right price.Others at my dog event stayed at much nicer motels for the same cost. Won't make this mistake again.

This property needs a lot of work. Would not stay here again. Sorry! ☹️☹️
