Awesome service and wonderful food. The room and furniture were dated--but I had reserved the cheapest selection. The rest of the hotel was modern and the staff, service, and food were amazing.

Hotel Jumbo was a great hotel/location for a long weekend in Chisinau. Close to multiple great restaurants and a park; walking distance to the center. We had half pension booked but breakfast would have been sufficient; dinner half pension menu okay but with no option of selecting the wine I want/too much options close by to limit our nice Moldova experience.

The hotel was a little far from the area I expected to be you cant just walk to the main street but you have to use transportation also there was a couple of things I told the reception about the TV issue and the shower was leaking water from the side wall and there was no shampoo in the dispenser so I wasnt too happy about that visit unfortunately so I wont be booking that hotel anymore

The staff is very correct. Check in was OK and the service during dinner and breakfast was very helpfull. Breakfast was very complete and good coffee. One of the members of our group has visited a lot of hotels in Russia, Ukraine and Baltic States but never had a hotel like this. The rooms are from different sizes so when you go with a group not everyone will have the same size of room. Part of the hotel has rumour of the trafiic outside because the hotel is situated on a busy road. So it is not always possible to sleep with open window. The airco in our room was very good and the bathroom was clean and modern. They cleaned the room every day and every time clean towels. When you order a taxi they order one in a short time and you can arrange a fixed price f.i. if you want to go to the Airport. It is not a very cheap hotel but its price worth. And you want to run or have a walk: a great park on the other side of the road.

One of the gentlemen at the front desk was never helpful at all and generally seemed put out by any request. The fridge in the room didn't work and there are no ice machines so we had to go to the bar if they were open to get ice so we could have cold drinks (apparently not a thing over there). Pretty disappointed overall. Room was ok at least it was pretty clean but a bit shabby. AC didn't work very well (again not a thing over there).

I go to Chisinau often to see family. The hotel was clean and the breakfast was nice. The hotel is very close to trolleybus station.

Short stay on a trip to the North of the country but very relaxing one. I could rest well, use the fitness room and find great restaurant in the neighborhood. The room was comfortable enough to rest and do some work as well.Just opposite there is great park.

The hotel was good. Good rooms and a great breakfast. Clean rooms. However, the shower was broken and made a mess. Other than that I'd stay here again.

A good hotel, no problems with the hotel. However the staff was hot and cold, some people where helpful while others were rude and hostile for no reason.

I recommend Jumbo Hotel. The WiFi was adequate, the breakfast was good, and the staff were very friendly, even with an occasional language barrier (most staff I encountered spoke English well). By taxi, the hotel is approximately 10-15 minutes from the airport, and the MallDova shopping center is approximately 35 minutes walk from the hotel. The other landmarks in the city center are a 10 minute bus ride away, which costs 10 cents (USD). A small convenience store is located nearby, too. The only complaint I have was that the public address speaker in the hotel room had a tendency to click at odd times of the day, with enough volume to interrupt a midday nap. Overall, I would stay here if I again had business in Chisinau.

Arrived at the hotel about half 10 in the evening on the 24th Jan 2016. Very easy to get to by car and on site parking available. Was welcomed by two hotel staff as soon as I pulled the door open. Was checked in very quickly and was help with my bags to my room. The whole week I stayed there was very enjoyable and pleasing.

Having had confirmation of booking and ariving at the hotel at 10pm at night to be told, no room available. They told me its okay we have put you in a similar hotel, it wasnt.There is a statement on Hotels.com site Your booking is guarenteed no it wasnt

Very very disappointed;HOTELS.COM website states:As a valued customer, we want to make sure you have all the information you’ll need for your stay – all in one place.Your booking is guaranteed and you will pay at the hotel in their local currency.I specifically wanted to stay in this hotel due to the location and amenities.On arrival at the hotel at 22:00, to be informed that the hotel was full, I was informed that I would be put up in a similar hotel and not be charged any more than the agreed rate. I had a taxi provided to an alternative hotel which was NOT comparable to the location or amenities available.This ruined the trip for me and I wont book here again and question the statements on HOTELS.COM website: Dont book a room here!

I stayed in Junior suite, so I can't claim my room was representative. But the hotel was ok, the staff did try its best (didn't always work out but it was not a Four Seasons either). The location was ok, across the park with main facilities in a walking distance, The taxi to the center cost €2-3. The breakfast was decent.

Good Hotel, the only problem is it is a little way out from the centre of town, but taxis are plentiful and cheap so not too much of a problem
