We stayed in Treetops at the Abri Apartments for five nights towards the end of a six week trip to NZ and it was ideal. Set back from the main drag with views out across the water to Russell and an apartment with just about everything you could want set in lovely gardens. Helen was a great host and our stay was really relaxed. If you’re going to Paihia (and it makes a great base for the Bay of Islands) then book this early and enjoy the time there even more.

We just stayed 3 nights at the Abri Apartments. Everything was perfect. Clean, lovely rooms with everything you need. Helen was readily available if we needed anything. A quick walk into Paihia for all your shopping and dining needs.

It was such a lovely place to stay. One of the mug was not so cleaned and coffee residue visible. But other aspects were well presented so overall experience was excellent! Thank you.

This place is incredible. If they were free more nights we would have stayed longer.

This was our favourite stay of all places while visiting the North Island. Such a beautiful place with an amazing view. The hosts were also very wonderful folks. Wish we could have stayed longer.

Helen was an excellent hostess providing f information about Paihia and area as well as in door suggestions as we had a storm front expected. The apartment was immaculate and oh what a view. Easy walk to pier and waterfront/beach. Definitely would stay again

This was one of my favorite places I've ever stayed. A beautiful little home with all the conveniences you need and we'll within walking distance to all the local attractions. If I am lucky enough to return to The Bay of Islands I will stay here again for sure.

Waking each morning to look out over Paihia - magic! Wonderful place to explore the Bay of Islands from or simply relax on the deck. We are going back!

Abri was fantastic. A little home away from home with a beautiful view. Clean, well kept gem! The owners are very attentive and friendly also :)

le Our Abri Apartment Suite, with hosts Helen and Peter, was an amazing stay in Paihia, Bay of Islands, New Zealand. We had everything we needed in the super clean and comfortable suite, including easy access to a laundry shared between us and the two chalets. The icing on the cake here is the view, both from the king bedroom and from the deck, complete with private access BBQ and table for cooking and dining! Everything, hosts included, was delightful, and we highly recommend staying here!

Our Suite at Abri Apartments was a delight! Helen was there to greet us and show us around the lovely property. The view from our suite was absolutely spectacular, especially from the lovely deck, which also has an amazing BBQ grill. The king bed was super comfortable and having the on site laundry. Super convenience. We can highly recommend staying in the Suite at Abri Apartments!

Would happily stay again and highly recommend it. One minor issue was with the daily service - we stayed 3 nights and didn't get this on the first day then on the second day we still hadn't been serviced so I had to call the owners to enquire - they were prompt and came and serviced the apartment straight away so it was all sorted promptly :)

The view is gorgeous; its a short walk to the main little area; the apartment is very well stocked with milk, coffee, tea, soaps, a jacuzzi (!), internet, a gorgeous dining nook overlooking the sea (just like in the photo!), a dishwasher, fridge, and all the kitchen things you might want (except an oven, though there is an electric stovetop with two burners). the owners are right next door, so very convenient for arranging arrival and departure. everything was great!

Bed sagged in middle between us, did not make good sleeping

This is a fantastic little apartment with fabulous views of the bay. The bed is comfy, the shower works well and everything is spotlessly clean. Being able to use the laundry for free, was great too.
