I’ll caveat that this was for a business trip. The hotel is beautiful, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the staff are great. However, I would not recommend this hotel for business travel. The WiFi is terrible, making basic work functions difficult. The noise from traffic went all night and was so loud that even with earplugs I did not sleep much. And checking in took nearly 1 hour due to a change in my schedule and the need to add an extra night.

Request for housekeeping but towels were not changed and no replacement of used shower cap. Housekeeper don’t even care to replace to a new toiletries. Too bad. Slow services.

Still grand and beautiful, but the fittings in the rooms shows signs of aging, the shower floor is ponding and leaks out to the main toilet area, the bathtub was not secured down, the bed was creaking with tired mattress and the sofa was stained and beaten up. My room 1202 is facing the highway and train tracks, thus was noisy every other minute with a combination of road and train noises. Do avoid this room unless double glazed window panes are fitted. The breakfast was bad, food overcooked (read "hard"), coffee dispensers still a bottleneck, range of food is uninspiring for this establishment.

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. I’ve been to lots of places internationally, so far this is the best experience I had with a hotel. Excellent services and they try their best to accommodate to our requests. Friendly staffs too. Will recommend staying here to others also

Staff were excellent and rooms nice and large. The breakfast buffet was amazing!! Would definitely go back if visting KL again.
The beds are a tiny bit hard but everthing else was superb.

The hotel’s room is spacious and the staff is friendly and helpful. However, the location is not very ideal. It is not convenient for me to walk to the shopping area.

This is the 3rd time we're staying in this hotel. The service remains as good as the previous. However, the range of tv channels has been decreasing with each stay (our first visit was in 2021).

The hotel was great and I've no complaints except the location was not too convenient. It takes about 15 minutes walk to and from a train station. The hotel offers complimentary pickup and drop off at the KL Sentral, but the last pickup from the KL Sentral was about 5:30pm.

The property is clean, the room is capacious, with almost all the necessity amenities. I was disappointed because of no microwave. Also, little bit away from the city center, which mean you have to take public transport to almost everything.

Beautiful private beach. Our room was stunning with ocean view. Its so bug with two living rooms Love the two balconies and with beautiful landscaping throughout the resort. The staff oc fge hotel was very friendly and professional. We enjoyed our kayaking and ATV rides .its a nice place to enjoy and relax, a,

Nice place overall. Good staff. A bit dark and crammed in places like breakfast area and bathroom. The new wing interiors didn’t quite keep the heritage features of the original next door.

We liked the location of the hotel being on the edge of the city. Transport was easy by taxi to get different areas. Buffet breakfast and evening meals were good with a lovely selection of different foods.

Excellent stay. Hotel is an old building that has kept it charn. It has been renovated and the rooms are modern and impeccable. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was very varied and good. Location is within walking distance of the National Museum, the Museum of Islamic Arts as well as Chnatown.

Amazing staff, friendly and warm. Room was large and felt luxurious. The bug bath a real treat. Breakfast was quite poor, but dinner the night before was spectacular. The jazz singer and trumpeteer were exceptional and oozed decadence, and sohistication. As a younger guy, it was easy to appreciate what the hotel is trying to achieve. It really succeeded in making you feel special and welcome. Exceptional place.

Simply wonderful Hotel in every way. Updated, clean rooms and staff that were always available to serve any need. In terms of dining, do not miss enjoying the fantastic dinner buffet prepared by the extraordinary Chef Hossein. Marvelous regional dishes prepared with perfection. And if that's not enough, the breakfast buffet is unbelievably awesome. A mix of Western and regional SE Asia dishes that are fantastic. Arguably the best hotel and dining we've had in SE Asia.

All staffs make you feel welcome and the service were more than I expected. The room is big and clean nicely decorated. It does show a little wear and tear but overall the room conditions is still good. I will definitely consider to stay here again on my next trip.

The hotel room is big, clean and well decorated. However some parts of the hotel looks abit weathered. Love the colonial vibe. The orchid observatory for high teas is soo pretty.
